It is such a beautiful place! Our room was lovely, and we really enjoyed the area - Ancenis, ten minutes away, is a charming town, and Nantes is a cool small city. The chateau had beautiful rooms, and Vincent was a lovely host, with very good English - which certainly helped as my wife speaks good French but I do not - and the massage we booked during our stay was wonderful as well.

Just about everything. Dinner at l’Orangerie was a seminal life experience. The chef was brilliant, the chef’s wife/Maitre ‘D was informative, funny and just an absolute delight. I had the best Cod fish of my life. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The building and landscaping were stunning.

Our first impressions skepticism turned into complete satisfaction by the end of our stay - in fact we even decided to stay an extra night. The location was handy to our events in Montjean, the grounds were nicely maintained, the room was spacious and very clean, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was modern, the breakfast was delicious, and the staff were delightful. What more can you ask for from a hotel stay? And did I mention...the weather was perfect too! Oh, and they even had a charging station for our electric car. Bam!
