The chateau is so traditional and furnished with period furniture. The hosts are so nice and kind and nothing was too much trouble. Our accommodation included a lounge and kitchen which was a real surprise. We would love to stay again

The cottage was simply stunningly decorated and very cozy. We loved the hot tub (which came with detailed instructions on how to use it effectively) and sauna. You could see the hosts gave huge attention to details - for example, there were a lot of coffee machine capsules, which we appreciated a lot as enthusiastic coffee drinkers. We loved the equipement, the decor, the location that was beautiful, full of peace and far away from the city noise. And we even got a small cookie box on arrival!

Perfect place to stay on the way to the ferry as only 30 minutes from Cherbourg. Proprietors charming and friendly. Good value sirloin steak, salad and fries €10 or a selection of home made pizzas and burgers. Handy little corner shop attached to the Auberge. Clearly popular with locals popping in for a drink in the bar in the evening or buying bread in the morning. Our dog was made very welcome and there was a little track opposite where she could have an off lead run.

A friendly welcome.

A friendly welcome. The owners were always available for questions. The central location minimizes distances to all coastal areas and attractions. The cottage is well-equipped with a fully equipped kitchen. Each room has its own bathroom and toilet! The ground floor also had a separate toilet.

Brix itself is a small town, but we highly recommend the bakery for its excellent sandwiches, bread, and pastries. The location is excellent, close to Cherbourg and Valognes, and within a half-hour drive east and west for hiking.

That place was just amazing we was before in like 5 starts hotel that one is even better the atmosphere in that castle was just amazing how clean and cozy everything was🥰and the owner she was very friendly very cute women even in the morning she bring some breakfast for us how sweet that was, we really wud like to come back to that castle it was great experience, also everything around the castle was so tidy, really recommend this place for everyone

It's a hotel that offers the lowest price I have ever had to pay. It's old and runned down but it's clean, confortable and the owner is very pleasant and accommodating. It's the kind of place one stays to crash for 1 night at an extremely affordable price and get a good rest in a safe, warm and comfortable environment but glamorous it is not.

The hosts made us more than welcome providing a splendid breakfast a bottle of local cider on arrival and ensured we were comfortable. Considering the limitations of this centuries old chateau for anyone wishing to escape from the normal sterile hotel give it a try.
