Wonderful welcome from Boris and Socrate and a luxurious, generous breakfast with varied local produce. The best of the camino! The room is built into the cliff, on the site of the former chateau, so it is a troglodyte experience. The balcony has beautiful views of the current chateau and river Cele. Boris was very helpful with local information and good directions.

Fabulous view of the old town. Nice modern well appointed rooms. Enjoyed being able to sit out the terrace with a glass of wine enjoying the view. Plenty of car parking close to the rooms so we didn't have to drag our lugggage far. Fantastic resturaunt right next door.

We had a wonderful Christmas in Cabrerets. The house is quirky and spacious. We enjoyed the sunroom on the first floor and sitting outside admiring the view and the starry sky. The village is absolutely beautiful and the local boulangerie cafe was open in December which was a nice treat. Sophie gave us great walking recommendations, so we did a local hike and visited Saint Cirq Lapopie. Thank you Sophie et Eric!

Everything, this is an absolutely beautiful property with extremely welcoming hosts right in the centre of Cabrerets. The linen was excellent quality, the garden green & lush. We would have loved to stay longer and would highly recommend. Thank you Mary & Eric for your warm welcome and all the information you provided to us. Breakfast was delicious.

Nice cosy room, working heating, bed was comfortable. Breakfast was really good, and the staff were very nice and polite. Great stop if you want to skip the gites for a night on the Cele. Hotel is at the far end of town but the restaurant is directly opposite so you just start the next morning on the GR651 walking the Pech Merle. Very quiet

The Auberge is a pleasant, comfortable hotel, in a great location just outside Cabrerets village, but eithin easy walking distance. The hosts are approachable and helpful, and an evening meal is available if requested in advance.
