Hotel is great, good location, very good value. The restaurant is exceptional, the staff were fantastic, and the food was some of the best I've had. The tasting menu is just over €100, which is exceptional value for that standard of food.

Everything was just perfect: The helpful guidance from first moment, the delicious local gifts waiting on the bed with a pretty card, the fabulous view from my room to the chapel and sunset, the great location right next to the path that leads to the stone alignments, so convenient. The location was sensational for its view all around: To the sunrise in the morning and down to the coast. It was a huge surprise that the restaurant served such gourmet food, and again beautiful view. Lovey pool area. Close to the old city centre and museum. This is one of my best hotel experiences ever, and I was really sad to leave. Hope to be back!

Great place, full of history, and amazing Megolithic...

Great place, full of history, and amazing Megolithic standing stones and kearns on a scale that is mindblowing. Lovely Village too, about 5 minutes drive for the 3 beach areas and has great markets. The 3 beaches are clean, sandy, with shallow waters, so safe for kids, and it has its own town centre with shops, bars, restaurants. Within an hour of Carnac, there are so many places to visit, and there are boat trips too, but do the Petit train to get a good idea of what is where. 2 weeks is about the right length of stay.

Dare I say everything?!

Dare I say everything?! The whole place is so clean - virtually no litter - and the beach was immaculate. On the subject of the beach the main bay is amazing and so are all the smaller adjacent bays. The road system works well and there are lovely wide "boulevards" for pedestrians & cyclists. We were spoilt for choice with restaurants, cafe's, boulangeries & patisseries etc. - something for everyone. Everything was in walking distance, including a really good supermarket, fresh fruit stall & butcher selling rotisserie cooked meats. The main reason we were there was my husband competing in a sailing regatta and the yacht club could not have been more friendly, welcoming & helpful. The tourist information personnel were very helpful and we were able to visit other local places of interest using the reliable bus service (€2.50 pp each way). We will most definitely be going back!

Lovely clean white sandy beaches esp at low tide. walking and cycling is a must, great cycling trails. Walk esplanade for 1km into town. Nice clothing shops and bars / restuarants / patisseries. Very relaxing holiday (1 week) No annoying beach sellers or shops selling tat.

we went to Carnac because of the prehistoric history and the stone alignments. we were not disappointed. Carnac town has some very good places to eat. we ate some truely stunning food there. from our hotel we could walk everywhere, the countryside and landscape was beautiful.

Carnac is a very pleasant beach resort with good restaurants...

Carnac is a very pleasant beach resort with good restaurants and the wonderful pre-historic 3000 stones of Carnac. Surrounded by 6 or 7 white sand beaches and lots of coastal and country paths for walks. Vannes is only 40 mins away and definitely worth a trip to see.

Carnac town was quaint and worth a short walk. Plenty of choices of restaurants. Very good value for money in the town itself. The plage area was very easy to walk around. Crepes at Crepes a La plage were delicious and I am not sure why previous reviews were so low.

The apartment is ideally located close to a bus stop in the Bourg de Carnac. It was very comfortable for two people and had all we needed. It's beautifully decorated and ours had a little balcony. It was also very quiet and we slept well. Easy checkin and friendly host. There's a spa in the house that can be booked in addition. 25min walk to the beautiful beach. Would definitely come back!

Location was fabulous so close to a beach, easy free parking, restaurants nearby, quiet area of town but still only 5 minutes away from the centre. Room finished to a high specification, very clean and comfortable with great air conditioning system. Although a small room it was a great place to sleep and prepare to go out for the day. Love the independence of key pads and lock boxes too.
