Offering a restaurant and a bar, Novotel Paris Sud Porte de Charenton is located on the edge of Bois de Vincennes. Our circumstances were a bit unusual in that we were spending our entire stay with family and friends. The hotel was extremely convenient in terms of location. For a vacationing traveler, the hotel is a good value considering that it is located at a Metro stop. Getting to any central location in Paris would only take 30-40 minutes. Be prepared to do quite a bit of walking, though...
Hotel ibis budget Paris Porte de Bercy is in Charenron-le-Pont, just over one mile from Gare de Lyon and 9 miles from Orly Airport. The air-conditioned hotel has free Wi-Fi internet access. the staff was exceptionally helpful and kind. I thought the breakfast was pretty bad. The location was excellent. I will be back.
Located just outside Paris, the ibis Porte de Bercy is 1.2 mi from AccorHotels Arena and has a 24-hour reception. Free Wi-Fi access is provided in the rooms and there is an on-site restaurant. The hotel is very well located, next to a shopping centre and close to public transport. The room was nice and quiet with a bathtub. The staff is really nice anf helpful. The restaurant serves nice food at a very reasonable price and the breakfast is very nice! Lots of buffet options.
Aparthotel Adagio Access Paris Porte De Charenton is located just outside the 12th district of Paris, next to the Bois de Vincennes. A great budget hotel in a fantastic location. The room and kitchen facilities were excellent. There are a number of very good shops and restaurants in the vicinities.
Set 1969 feet from Parc Floral de Paris, Charenton's place is an apartment with a kitchenette in Charenton-le-Pont. The property features city views. The property had most of the necessities including a washing machine. It was near the metro and supermarket.
On the banks of Seine, near AccorHotels Arena sports and entertainment center and the French National Library, the 4-star hotel enjoys a prime location in the eastern part of Paris. Free parking and walking distance to public transportation and good restaurants
This City Résidence is located in Ivry-sur-Seine, 2.5 mi south-east of central Paris and just a 15-minute walk from Vincennes Zoo and Floral Park and Bois de Vincennes. Receptionist Ruben was very welcoming and helpful. The place was clean and the bed was comfortable. Fair price too.
Good point is the shopping centre but it seems to be on the verge of closing down. Pärking underneath the hotel is shared with the centre and there are loads of spaces available for a reasonable amount of 12 euros from midnight to midday. Unfortunately that's all there is to say, the place is extremely difficult to get to with the signage not very clear, even with satnav. Traffic is horrendous and if you miss your junction you have to go all the way round the system again. Good point is that an Uber will cost only about 9 euros to get you to Porte Dorée area where there are lots of interesting things to see and visit. Charenton le Pont is too remote for anyone wanting to do touristy things.
Stayed there due to a conference close to the area. Otherwise would not recommend. The rooms and building in general are quite old and the service was inadequate at times, particularly when it comes to the variety of options for room service. There is a superb bakery though very close as you exit the hotel. Also it was thankfully close to Liberte metro station making transport convenient. However, overall, poor quality-price relationship.
See earlier comments but if you cba. Here it is: The location was atrocious. We were wandering about for an hour outside the hotel cos we couldn’t get to it in car. TOTAL STRESS!! and the staff didn’t give a s@** Then fire alarm went off for ages!!! Couldn’t get a wink after that!!!
It was s nice quiet suburb just outside of Paris Really close to metro stations Taxi drivers soooo friendly and helpful Nice to see Went a pub with great food and service, great bakeries around the area
Bus 24 stop was nearer from the hotel, shopping centre is right next to it. Every morning I enjoyed hot croissant n coffee, restaurant, takeaways, subways and supermarket is within the shopping centre so need to take a nig laugage, you can buy it from d mall. I was able to save money on food. Ibis hotel sell all travel essential, e.g travel tickets, pass n etc
The Bois de Vincennes is across the road a very big park , walks , lake, zoo. Nothing open in the park during winter, ie cafes or toilets, Easy walk to the metro gets you into the centre of Paris in 20 minutes
