Excellent staff, really helpful when our 1 night stay turned into a week due to car problems. Typical budget room, no restaurant onsite but able to shop locally and use hotel microwave or visit a number of local restaurants in shopping areas nearby.

The room was excellent, spotlessly clean, no-one could ask for any better. Staff were all very friendly and welcoming, highly commended.. Would recommend this hotel to anyone. A big thank you to the staff, from the cleaning lady to the receptionist.

The young lady on reception was very nice, the room was what you would expect from an Ibis, the restaurant was really very good and not overpriced. It is in a commercial area but only a very short walk to a lovely lake on one side or the river on the other.

A wonderfully, welcoming, fun and quirky place. Cyril was an excellent host. My room was immaculate with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was spacious and faultless. Breakfast was simple but of high quality. Location is on the outskirts of the town but I took a +-2km walk along the road and then along the river, across the bridge and to a fine restaurant recommended by Cyril. I highly recommend a stay here if you are visiting the area or when passing by Chatellerault.

It is just beautiful! I have never experienced a home with so much charm, attention to detail and French/Moroccan style and beauty. It is an utter delight in every respect. The owner, who lives in the property, is charming, elegant, kind and attentive. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will return often on my way through France from the UK to my home in Spain.
