We came to Carcassonne for a festival, but due to heavy traffic it was difficult to find a taxi, and we arrived only in the evening. It was quite hard to find the hotel in the dark, especially for the first time — it is better to arrive during daylight. I was traveling with two children, and at first it caused a bit of anxiety, as the hotel has no staff on site and uses self check-in with a code. Lali was always in contact with us and supported us until we were fully settled, which we truly appreciate. The hotel itself is completely new and very clean, with a comfortable mattress and all necessary toiletries. It is surrounded by nature and vineyards. In the morning we were served a delicious breakfast on the terrace, and the pool is also very nice. However, the children did not feel comfortable staying for a second night, and in the end we moved to a hotel in the city center. The second hotel turned out to be much more convenient in terms of location: within walking distance there are cafés, restaurants, and all necessary infrastructure, which makes the stay more comfortable, especially with children. Overall, the place is more suitable for couples, for guests arriving by car, or for those looking for privacy, peace, and a quiet stay who understand the concept of self check-in accommodation. I would be happy to return again in the future, with a different group.
