This is a very beautiful place in a beautiful setting less than a mile from the center of Domme. The hotel and rooms are exceptional!! Ours had a modern, fully equipped kitchen which was very convenient, as well as a spacious bathroom and bedroom. The pool and outside terrace are also amazing. The staff was wonderful! They were so welcoming and helpful with anything we needed.

Stunning view and beautiful setting. Sophie and all the staff are exceptional and had excellent suggestions for day trips in the area. It's so peaceful here, we wish we had more than 3 nights! Also - the Dinner is amazing, and we got to sit outside and watch the sunset over the Dordungne as we dined. Wonderful!!

What a spot to spend the last days of our vacation in the Dordogne Valley. Nathalie and Laurent were great hosts. From a warm greeting when we arrived to seeing them each morning as they brought a wonderful breakfast to our room at the prearranged time. The place is beautifully decorated, our room/living area was super spacious with the view across the valley floor to Castelnaud perched on the opposite hill. And of course the balloons drifting by most mornings and evenings. The location is central, Castelnaud across the bridge, picturesque towns just “down the road” in either direction. The Jardins de Marqueyssac (highly recommend!) just up the hill. About a 25 minute drive to prehistoric cave paintings at Les Eyzies. Everything is close. There are restaurants in the nearby towns, but also a great spot just across the road, with Lucile and Corrine looking after you. The only sad part was having to leave Nathalie, Laurent and their lovely place to head home. Highly recommend this B&B. A real treat!

Location was great for exploring the area, easy walk to the hilltop town of Domme, short drive to Sarlet. Private and very clean. Loved that they brought breakfast to us, generous hospitality. Very kind couple!

Rick Steves says it's the best breakfast in France...and it is ! Omelettes made to order, countless choices of cheeses, meats. breads, lots of delicious home made desserts and dishes, including beef bourguignon that took her 48 hours to make ! It's a beautiful mansion / palace right on the river with extensive, lovely grounds, gardens and a large heated pool. The host is the kindest, most hard working and lovely person you could meet. I was playing her son's classical guitar in the parlor and she brought over a carafe of her delicious homemade walnut wine to share with my wife. An amazing and wonderful experience.

A great location for exploring this part of the Dordogne.

A great location for exploring this part of the Dordogne. The village itself offers few amenities, but everything is within easy reach. Daglan itself is a charming old town.

The cottage was perfect.

The cottage was perfect. The village of Daglan is charming and very close to the cottage. There are two good restaurants in Daglan. There is a large free car park in the middle of the village. The village market is great, with lots of Périgord products, truffles, foie gras, etc., in addition to fresh fruits and vegetables.

A pleasant village with beautiful architecture.

A pleasant village with beautiful architecture. Small local shops, a bakery, and a mini-market. The church, in the heart of the village, rings every hour and half-hour. Two restaurants and a potter (passionate about his craft). Everything is within walking distance. The restaurants were closed at this time (early December).
