This has to be hands down the very best place we have ever stayed in on any holiday. We have stayed in 5 star hotels and eaten in Michelin starred restaurants and, of course, they are entirely different options. Le Manoir du Plessis is gorgeous to look at, steeped in history, has magnificent hosts Cécile and Gilles and the overall welcoming ambience cannot be bettered. The food was delicious - Cécile is an incredible chef and we ate al fresco amongst joyous nature under beautiful mature tree canopies. Everything about this residence, including our room and super comfortable bed was wonderful. Cécile also produces Artisan pottery for the table and we bought some lovely pieces to remember our stay forever. We will definitely return.

Christelle and Gilbert obviously love what they do. They are incredibly welcoming and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and very quiet. Breakfast was just wonderful. They are set up for welcoming cyclists and are right on the cycle route.
