The location is perfect. It’s very close to Intermarché and bakeries. And a great spot from which to explore the island. The site manager was very kind and even gave us a parking site for our adult children’s van, free of charge. If you’re not planning to spend much time in the cottage (like us), it’s a perfect and affordable spot and if your standards are not super high. My younger son and his girlfriend stayed in a smaller apartment right at the pool and that seemed much nicer. Ideally suited for NO FRILLS outdoorsy couples and/or young & fit small families

The side sea view from our room was exceptional. The room was beautifully clean and the beds were very, very comfortable. The gourmet meal we enjoyed in the restaurant was as expected. Beautifully presented as works of art. The young lady sommeilier was knowledgeable and charming. Breakfast was OK but not as good as many 4 star hotels I have stayed in. The swimming pool was absolutely perfect.

Spent two nights of our French holiday with our family, who were visiting us from Australia and had a wonderful time. An absolutely beautiful, well equipped house in a great location a 10 minute walk from the beach which is so pretty and unspoilt. Our dog Astra loved the wooded area adjacent to the garden. Spent a day in La Rochelle which was lovely. Would definitely return.

The best hotel on île d’Oléron. Everything was perfect, staff is extremely friendly and helpful Gourmet restaurant - top Roof bar- they serve the best oysters Big and comfortable room Located on the beach I can only recommend this beautiful place

I love Ile d'Oléron, and have visited the island frequently. A particular favourite beach is Vert Bois and the hotel is ideally located to walk to.
