We booked this stay on our way back home to Belgium. What a bless that we booked this place! Phil and Sharon are such a wonderful couple. We directly felt home as if we were part of the family. The house is very spacious and is all about charm and romanticism. The beds were comfortable and we all slept like roses. After such a long trip we really could use that. So thank you for that! You know what is important for your guests! Your breakfast was so much appreciated. You two are genuinely lovely people! We can only be happy to have met you. It is not only about staying over, it is the full experience in the end. Let us not forget to mention how beautiful this region is with all these wonderful beaches closeby. A gem. Pity we could only spend one night. Would have loved to stay longer. Big, cozy, tastefully decorated rooms, calm and beautiful surroundings. And delicious food - we stayed for dinner and it was the best decision. 5 *!

We had a very pleasent stay with the new owner who, being a chef, also prepared a wonderful dinner every evening. The included breakfast was extensive and cosy together with other guests. The room was neat, clean and large enough. The owner fullfilled all our needs. The location was also very good, short drive from Royan and walking distance from the gironde. Also plenty of beaches nearby (car).

We were on our way to Portugal and found this the perfect stopover. The room is very well equipped with everything you need and the hostess is friendly, but otherwise leaves us free. The big bonus is the swimming pool where we could cool down and relax after a day of driving. There is also a facility with a fridge and cooking facilities at the pool. We went to the town for a pizza to eat at the pool. It is wise to order in advance, especially in high season. The breakfast was delicious and we went on our journey fully rested. What we should not forget to mention, there is ample parking space on the premises and the gate is closed, with a fully packed car that is quite a nice feeling.

The rooms are fabulous.

The rooms are fabulous. Decorated in a beautiful 'period' style and wonderfully appointed, bright and spacious. The grounds lovely and the pool very welcome on a hot day. As the sign on the garden gate proclaims - 'Ici, c'est paradis!'
