Stunning location on an oxbow lake of the River Saone, L’Ile Chaumette has been beautifully renovated- the restaurant and rooms look superb. Great food both for the evening meal and the continental breakfast. Celine was a very welcoming host - we would definitely stay again.

Loved where it is situated... The rooms are spacious and well equipped. Heating worked well (good job because at night it was 0°c).

Dinner was very good value and very tasty . We didn't have breakfast as we had an early start

I love this hotel, very authentic, very French. The people who run it are delightful, the beds are great, the breakfast is good. I can recommend a stay here for all people who find big hotel chains too anonymous and bland. Here you get a little more local colour. Chalon is a great base for visiting Burgundy.

This hotel is in a great location, only a few hundred metres from the station. The staff were friendly and helpful and the room very clean and comfortable.

Perfect rooms, very quiet, fantastic breakfast. Everything was absolutely satisfying.

Really good parking - included in price. Very compact rooms. For a family of 5, we had 2 interconnecting rooms and the children loved this. Great pit stop on the way to the Alps. Everything was clean. It was exceptional value. It is near a good selection of restaurants. There is electric car charging points. There is a cool water fountains to fill up water bottles. Staff helpful and friendly despite my dreadful attempts at French !

Our room was fresh, immaculately clean and comfortable. The staff were happy, friendly and professional. Nothing was too much trouble for them and their smiles at reception was very welcoming. The restaurant area was clean, fresh and pleasing, we had vegetarian Pizza and it was cooked to perfection. The breakfast selection was great, everything you could want for a great start to your journey. We would be more than happy to stay at Campanile Chalon-sur-Saone again.

Staff were lovely, our room was very comfortable. The hotel was in a good location for the main route to Spain.
