We booked this hotel which meant a slight detour on our journey from Cherbourg to the Charente because the reviews were so good - especially about the restaurant! We were not disappointed. The evening meal was amazing. The breakfast was lovely too - the staff even made us some scrambled eggs. If you are travelling from the North, we advise you to drive to Falaise first and then set your sat nav for Clécy. This will avoid a tortuous route across country, often on single track roads!

The hotelier was very pleasant & helpful. The hotel is up a very large hill and as we arrived by bike on a day when the hotel restaurant was closed, she drove us to a local restaurant and arranged a taxi for our return journey!

Omg hidden little Gem we found on the road trip round Normandy , tasteful chic new rooms lots of space inside , very light and clean , the shower is worth its weight , hot water as a jet perfect .slept like a log so no complaints about the bed Breakfast served in a basket with fresh bread , jam butter and coffee perfect way to start in the morning. Can not fault the owners , on hand , polite , and nothing was any trouble for them . Going back to stay a few nights and pick there brains for local stuff to do I really loved this place. À+ stars.!

Extremely neat and tidy apartment with delightful pretty small courtyard garden. Right in the centre market square so very easy to find and convenient for cafes etc. Very well equipped, immaculate, peaceful and easy check-in process. Thank you for a great stay
