This was the best place we have stayed at in France. Eric and his wife were wonderful hosts and made us feel very comfortable. We had a lovely dinner with his family and laughed a lot speaking both French and English. Many of the ingredients of the dinner were grown on the Fruit Farm. Eric was kind enough to pick us up in La Pellerine as we had been hiking on GR37. Highly recommended!

The hotel had a great location, castle easily reached by foot, great room - very clean and very comfortable, especially the bed. The breakfast was exactly what you would expect, and fantastically friendly staff - in fact the nicest hotel staff we met during our travels.
