The area is really beautiful, peaceful and lots of birds. The owner was really kind and helpful. Very good facilities for cooking comfortably and a barbecue. It was useful to have two bathrooms. It was a wonderful surprise to find a good sharp knife too, a rarity in most accommodation! It felt very private and secluded, yet when we asked the owner for some matches for the barbecue she was there in minutes! It was also really helpful to have a few pantry basics, especially after a few long flights to get here and a long drive from Paris.

Exceptionally friendly and attentive hosts for which nothing was too much trouble. No wonder they are rated so highly on here! We loved the location, it was exactly what we needed, the owner is very welcoming, the cottage rustic and very pretty (a lot of renovation must have been done there) and the nature beautiful even in winter. There are splendid places to discover nearby. There were really many birds in the hedges and we even heard some wild animal through the night, maybe a fox? We could make a fire in the stove in the evenings, which was great too. We were not very sociable this time, so we didn't really discuss much or discover more about the farm, but maybe this will be possible some other time. Thank you :)
