Set in a quiet location in Ciotat town center, this 2-star hotel is opposite the port and 984 feet from the beach. Guests can relax on the shaded terrace, which leads onto the garden.

The staff was so nice and accommodating. This is a very basic older place. No thrills or luxury but quiet and clean. Would definitely stay there again. Parking and location made it worth it and it had a nice patio so felt more spacious than it was. It also felt very safe as a single woman traveling.

Great climate, really great for vacation.

Great climate, really great for vacation. But the restaurants on the boulevard are absolutely disgusting. Worst food ever. For good and really good restaurants you need to be in town. Don't go to the tourist-restaurants because they don't care about quality, only money.

Interesting Port town typical of the area.

Interesting Port town typical of the area. Parking is difficult and streets are narrow to negotiate. Quieter than nearby Cassis. The beaches are quieter but there is no sand, just rocks. Foot protection to enter the sea is essential,

An interesting, attractive port with views over the harbour, some industrial parts remaining. Bars and restaurants facing the harbour front. Extremely busy and buzzing at night due to street stalls all along the front and restaurant trade. Made a good base to travel for day trips to Cassis and the mountains inland. Only spent a short time in the evenings in town so did not use the beaches

Would definitely return to la ciotat, but was busy mid June, so would be too busy for us in July and August. Good choice of restaurants. Recommend Vietnamese rather than the Thai next door which was overpriced and too pushy to make you buy more.

A beautiful beach town with charm!

A beautiful beach town with charm! La Ciotat is very walkable, with many different beach areas to choose from, clear blue waters that change from turquoise to navy, and bright skies that never end. Be sure to check out the Calanque Figuerolles for a magical pebble beach nestled between extreme rock formations. The night market is well organized, and such a great way to stroll the streets downtown beside the harbour. Make sure to check out some of the amazing local restaurants while you're there. I strongly recommend La Barque for delicious, creative, local seafood dishes, and Chez Yannik for excellent wood-fired pizza that doesn't break the bank.
