Set in a house of the 15th century located next to a river, right in the middle of the Gorges du Tarn area, hotel Château de la Caze is a characteristic castle from a fairytale and is surrounded by... Chateau De La Caze is a wonderful hotel set in stunning surroundings. The river runs right by the Chateau, which has lovely gardens and surrounds. The hotel is very quiet but easy driving distance to local villages. We had a lovely dinner in the hotel restaurant and recommend eating there at least one night. The room was spacious, clean and the bed very comfortable. There was also a pool which was welcome after hot days.
Located just 3.1 mi from Sainte Enimie, Auberge de la Cascade features a heated, outdoor swimming pool and panoramic views over the Gorges du Tarn Valleys. The setting is absolutely magical, the pool is beautiful, the rooms were great. This was the highlight of our trip along the Gorges du Tarn.
La Malene is a small village in the Gorge du Tarn, one of the most beautiful areas in France. It is a popular camping spot and many people go to the area because of the access to the river itself. La Malene has a number of places where you can stay as well as a choice of eating places, a post office, a patisserie and general food store, as well as a relaxing bar. It is a beautiful spot in a beautiful area. It offers easy access to the river Tarn as well as being a great sight-seeing area. It would appeal to people of all ages as there is something for everyone. Another interesting village in which to stay in the same area is St Enemie. This is bigger than La Malene but one of the advantages of La Malene is that it is small (population 165) and people are friendly. It is possible to access Point Sublime from La Malene and it serves as a cross-roads to other destinations in the area.
