Very comfortable and well located hotel in beautiful Monpazier. Sauna and pool were excellent. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

Château de Monsac is an obvious labour of love for Fabienne and Frédéric whose welcome was so genuine and warm. It was a privilege to enjoy the incredibly restored buildings and grounds and to learn of its fascinating history. Breakfast every morning was delicious and dinner on the terrace was a fabulous experience too. The wine list was so nice we set off specifically to visit those vineyards. There are so many lovely villages and place to explore within short drives every direction of le chateau and Fabienne and Frédéric were great with suggestions everyday. Our room was stunning and the pool was amazing. Our dog loved it all too. As a base for exploring Le Périgord it is perfect. 4 nights was not enough.

The location was great,right in the middle of Monpazier but quiet. Hostess was very friendly & helpful. Access was easy for a change!

Nathalie and Maurice were extremely hospitable, we couldn’t have asked for better hosts. We went for a wedding at a chateau but we would probably come back for a holiday and we were so well looked after! Thank you both!!

Gorgeous views and grounds, around a clean and well thought out accommodation that remained cool despite the heatwave. Benoit and Eileen were very hospitable, sharing plums from the garden and tips about the area. Windmill cottage is just a short walk into Monpazier which is a fantastic bastide. There's loads to do in the area from watching bike races, eating and dancing in village squares to exploring chateaux.
