The host Natalie was lovely, we just used the property as a base whilst visiting family. It was super well stocked and very accommodating. The beds were comfy and we came back to a gift of homemade Crepes on our second night along with fresh bread and juice which was a really nice gesture. I have no hesitation in recommending this place we will certainly look to book again when we are in the area.

The location was perfect for our last night before heading to Bergerac airport in the morning. A walk around the historic centre of Issigeac was lovely. The welcome was great. Wine on the terrace was really good. Dinner was delicious. Service was efficient and super friendly. We were late in the morning and our breakfast was packed and bill paid so quickly. We were very impressed - and grateful. We will return.

Château de Monsac is an obvious labour of love for Fabienne and Frédéric whose welcome was so genuine and warm. It was a privilege to enjoy the incredibly restored buildings and grounds and to learn of its fascinating history. Breakfast every morning was delicious and dinner on the terrace was a fabulous experience too. The wine list was so nice we set off specifically to visit those vineyards. There are so many lovely villages and place to explore within short drives every direction of le chateau and Fabienne and Frédéric were great with suggestions everyday. Our room was stunning and the pool was amazing. Our dog loved it all too. As a base for exploring Le Périgord it is perfect. 4 nights was not enough.

As soon as I arrived at Namaste Cottage, Magali and Olivier welcomed me warmly and I felt immediately at ease. The house is absolutely fantastic, bed ridiculously comfortable and all the facilities were perfect. Breakfast was delicious and it was a shame to leave. This is a fantastic hidden gem, a beautiful venue in the most picturesque French village. Very attentive hosts, Isa couldn’t do enough for us. We couldn't stay very long this time but we will be back. Comfy beds, lovely shower, fresh breakfasts.
