What I liked mostly is the staff. All persons that we met at the reception and the cafeteria are very kind. They are welcoming, and professional in their way of reacting with guests! I liked also this area in the garden outside... Bit different than the unexpected deficiencies inside the room.

The ibis Styles Marly Le Havre Center is located in the heart of the district rebuilt by Auguste Perret, which is classified as a UNESCO World Heritage site.
The jagged coast of Normandy contrasts with the sharp lines created by Belgian architect Auguste Perret’s post-war modernist creation in Le Havre. The city encompasses an important port at the mouth of the Seine river that flows into the English Channel after passing through Paris.
St. Joseph’s Church rose from the ashes of World War II to become a striking symbol for Le Havre’s architectural awakening. The huge tower consists of a concrete outer skin complemented with a Neo-Gothic interior including coloured-glass windows letting in different shades of light.
The Andre Malraux Museum has a wonderful collection of artworks from the Impressionist period including paintings from Claude Monet and Pierre-Auguste Renoir. Wide open spaces and fountains are a feature of the square, one of the biggest in France, surrounding Hotel de Ville (town hall).
Sometimes referred to as the ‘Brasilia of France’, Le Havre incorporates the work of Brazil’s most famous architect, Oscar Niemeyer, in his creation Le Volcan. Spanning the river Seine is Le Pont de Normandie, an iconic cable bridge linking the city with Honfleur.
Most hotels and apartments on Booking.com are located in the compact city centre or around the train station.

A large busy town with harbours big enough for container ships, tankers and cruise liners. Interesting to watch their arrival and departure with many restaurants along the shore line where you can watch them sail by. The sea front also has an artists trail with information boards about the many artists who found Le Havre an inspiration. An interesting town with more to it than I expected including galleries, shopping centres and modern architecture.

Le Havre is like many port cities -- it has its good bits and bad bits. The area around the hotel had been invested in, so there was a nice shopping centre nearby. The railway station was a few minutes away, and you could use the trams to get to the beach (it was a 1.5 mile walk from our hotel). Some other areas of the city were very run down.

Le Havre is a great place, there is lots to do, whether you enjoy restaurants, shopping, museums/galleries, beach, local history, etc., etc.. Walking around is convenient, if you are able to, nothing is too far away and Le Havre has very interesting architecture. There are plenty of activities too, the boat ride around the harbour was really good & very interesting.

Vibrant cafes and restaurants, good shopping facilities and easy rail and bus access to other areas. The promenade has been tidied up, looks very elegant and stylish. Ideal for watching ships enter harbour. I particularly enjoyed the port tours by Vedettes Baie de Seine., running three times per day in season. MuMa (Museum of Modern Arts) on the front is worth a visit too.

A very pleasant surprise - a nice looking city with lots of great bars and restaurants and amazing architecture. A must visit to Saint Joseph church and Niemayer plaza. I can recommend a place to eat - and watch sports - called "La grande ecole" - a huge school transformed to a bar-restaurant-pub-sports bar - community center - kids playground.

The centre of Le Havre is a unique place, which is why it has UNESCO designation. With its lengthy waterfront, there is lots to explore. The people we met in the Office de Tourisme and at visitor attractions were very welcoming. The city is easy to get around, with the trams and network of buses running frequently and at low fares. In the evenings, we found some very good restaurants and bars to spend our time. Overall, a city we'd definitely recommend, and with luck, may return to one day.
Perfect for a couple or single wanting a stopover in Le Havre when arriving or departing on a ferry. Free off street parking, 20 minute walk into town or 5 minutes from bus or tram stops. Local food shopping. Well equipped clean studio with cooking facilities.. Nicely appointed communal area. Excellent value. Would use again.
The apartment was very clean, well equipped. We appreciated the attention to detail and good taste.
Parking space provided.
The host was always available by phone.
Highly recommend for a stay close to Le Havre.
The staff was very friendly. We were able to park cheaply near the hotel on the side street. The size of the room and bathroom was adequate. The hair dryer was available. Check in and Check out without problems.
Newly renovated hotel, two tram stops from the centre. Really recommendable. Clean and our superior room had a decent size. Very friendly staff. Parking in a close-by good public underground car park.
