Located in the mountain area of Le Mont-Dore, Hôtel de Russie provides a cozy atmosphere and fully-equipped rooms with LCD TV and free WiFi. Excellent hotel, perfectly situated in the centre of Mont Dore. Easy to walk to restaurants, bakery, park, bars etc.. The hotel restaurant was great too. Staff were friendly and helpful. Our triple room had an extra little room off of it for my son which was great and the extra room much needed. Our friends also paid for a triple room but there's was smaller and didn't have the extra little room off of it. Lovely new kitchen aid kettle in the room. Room was clean, modern and well decorated similar to an alpine chalet. Lots of shelves and spaces to put things in the room & bathroom. Although there isn't parking in the hotel, there are lots of places to park within a very short walk. We decided not to have breakfast in the hotel and instead made our own coffees in our room and got pastries/baguettes from the bakery over the road. The ski slopes and kids sledge park are only a few kilometres away by car or bus. The hotel also has a lovely lounge at the front where you can play games and chill if you want to get out the room or meet with other friends staying here.
