Offering a terrace and views of the mountains, Chalet Du Friolin is located 3.1 mi from the center of Montchavin-Les Coches on the slopes of La Plagne, in the Paradiski resort. Excellent breakfast and very good evening meals, typical Savoyard dinners, a little on the heavy side with lots of sauces and cheese. Very good atmosphere in the Chalet, it is very quiet in the evenings, perfect if you want to relax after a full day at the slopes skiing. Open air Jacuzzi and sauna by the snow. Owners were very helpful in dealing with an issue at the end of the stay (non availability of taxis to bring us to Aime).
Résidence Pierre & Vacances La Marelle et Le Rami is located on the edge of the forest in the Tarentaise Valley, in a picturesque Savoie village facing Mont-Blanc. Beautiful view form the apartment, calm, right next to the ski lift. The apartment was well equipped, I appreciated the “cleaning kit” we found in the kitchen. Each room had a designated ski locker. Free parking right next to the hotel.
Located in Les Coches in the Rhône-Alpes region, Résidence le Rami Les coches has a terrace. The property features mountain views and is 30 miles from Val-d'Isère. Appartment well maintained and stocked. We came with everything but you can arrive and shop the next day in Les Coches. A lot of hiking trails. No need to take the car. Bus up or down to Montchavin with pool etc. The best of all is the appartment view and location.
Located at various locations in Les Coches and in the heart of the Paradiski area, GSI Les Coches offers self-catering apartments with a balcony or terrace. Excellent location, ski to door, shops around. Accommodation very clean, it was everything what I need.
Residence Le Hameau du Sauget - maeva Home is located in Les Coches. Private parking is available on site. We liked the location as reasonably close to the ski lift, The apartment is tiny for 4 people but it was OK for a couple. Welcome pack was OK. Because of COVID-19 there were car-park spaces, but in the season it is probably difficult. Close to the shops in Les Coches (abt 5-7 min walk)
Located in Les Coches in the Rhône-Alpes region, La Montagne features a balcony and mountain views. The property is 18 miles from Val-d'Isère and free private parking is featured. Spacious place which is exceptional in France when you go skiing - usually the places are tiny, some are not really for human occupation. There is no wifi but you can get a modem from the tourist office. Good appliances, well furnished place, nice and warm. Close to the ski lift - with good snow falls it is a snow in snow out place. Ski can be hired and left at the foot of the chair lift, where is also a good boot dryer. Shops and eateries nearby. Navette only a couple of times a day but access to ski fields good without it. Bus to Landry, to the train station.
Small village with easy access to La Plagne and Les Arc ski fields. It is built over with hotels and units but it still preserved some character. Ther are cable cars and chair lifts, chair lifts do not have lids or heated seats in La Plagne area. Nice blue runs but plenty of off-piste skiing for black runs skiiers up in the basin. Some walking. Price of chair lifts and good deals acceptable. Many eateries and cafes, not too expensive, compared to Val d'Isère, for example.
We were very close to the pist, actually we were in the middle of the piste you can just put your ski on and jump on the piste. The apartment was more big than I expected and nice furnished. The only problem was the towels which they changed once per week even if you are willing to pay you cannot get clean once
Small but nice village. You find all you need there and the shops staff is friendly and makes you feel welcome. Perfect positioning in the Paradiski, next to Vanoise Express which connects La Plagne with Les Arcs.
Small, traditional, compact village with good ski shops, lovely bakery who will bake a fab.birthday patisserie on request, a well stocked supermarket, various delis, gift shops, great pizza restaurant plus couple of other good restaurants.(La Table du Monchu excellent). Nice walk from Les Coches down mountain slope,or the road, to Montchavin. Good ski runs available from here, also snow shoe walks. Free shuttle bus to&from main road via the villages. Friendly folk and staff.
