An excellent little hotel perfectly situated for passing through on our travels. This is not a modern or up to date place but had a charm and was a nice change from a chain hotel. The couple running the hotel were very welcoming and we and our two young children enjoyed the atmosphere and eclectic Christmas decorations and mounted jigsaw puzzles. Meals were basic but of the region and all served with love.

Beautiful location. For the price. It was not what what I expected. Beautiful road leading the hotel. Bikers paradise. Fantastic views. Lots of history. Lovely fresh baked bread by owner breakfast. It’s out of the way, but worth the trip. I will go back.

We liked the look and feel of the house. It was very peaceful and all we could hear most of the time were the birds singing. The terrace was great with a variety of seating and a beautiful view. It was nice to have a little garden too. The bed was very comfortable.
