Located in a landscaped park, this Logis Luccotel overlooks Loches town center in the Loire Valley. It features a heated indoor swimming pool, tennis and volleyball courts. With a fractured leg I asked for access without stairs and we were in a building in the grounds - a motel type parking area immediately outside the door. This was very convenient
Le Moulin St Jean is 4.3 mi from the center of Loches and 25 mi from the A10 motorway. It offers free Wi-Fi, a garden and a terrace with outdoor furniture. Splendid setting (mill/river) with lovely views; comfortable large room with shared balcony; proprietor very friendly and helpful (with good English!) ... sought to personalise meals (dietary requirements); fair prices for accommodation and food; good choice re: breakfast & enjoyable evening meal (with other guests).
Located in Loches, a 9-minute walk from Chateau de Loches, La Closerie Saint Jacques has accommodations with a shared lounge, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. A first rate townhouse at the foot of the Royal Chateau and within steps of cafes, shops, and market. Lavish room, gorgeous bath, parking just outside in a free public lot!
Set in Loches, 0.6 mi from Chateau de Loches, Le Clos Mademoiselle has rooms with free WiFi access. The property features barbecue facilities, as well as a garden. Guests can enjoy garden views. It’s a very well-kept, beautifully decorated, elegant home.. The bathroom was modern, the shower stall very spacious . The bedroom lovely, great view, birds singing outside in the morning. Very quiet area. The hosts, Isabel and Bernard, are warm, kind, friendly people. I loved visiting with them - learned a lot. The location is excellent : 5 minute walk to Chateau and old town. The breakfast was traditional and superb. I will come here again.
Located in Loches and only a 15-minute walk from Chateau de Loches, Gîte Jeanne D'Arc has accommodations with city views, free WiFi and free private parking. Wonderful place that exceeded our expectations. Pictures did not describe the charm well enough. The location is perfect, the design wonderful, a lot of space. And everything is available.
The only reason our stay was too long was that it got quite a bit colder than expected a couple of days before our trip. We wanted to bicycle around the various chateaus and towns, but it was too chilly and rainy for that. It was a nice base to see several chateaus, but there are only so many we could take in, after a while it was too much.
Very nice and quiet medieval town with loads of local museums, castle and ancient buildings. Saturday market in the old town full of smells and colours with local products. Loads of restaurants with local dishes in the pedestrian streets.
The history, the architecture and of course the river. Pity we did'nt have the time to visit more. Everything was within easy walking distance - shops, restaraunts and a supermarket within 5 mins by car for low price fuel/other things.

Highly recommended...So charming and unique - an updated comfortable antiquity right next to the castle wall in the royal city of Loches. And a great location for day trips to the Loire Valley Chateaux. The hosts Tomas and Claude were very nice and were patient allowing my daughter and I to converse with them in our broken French. Continental breakfast was ready at our desired hour in a lovely common room. The rooms are each spacious, unique and clean.

This was a very nice apartment overlooking the town of Loches. Walking distance to everything. It was very clean and had a great balcony overlooking the waterway and the town. There were a few things we had to do ourselves - make the beds and take the rubbish out when we left but for the price we paid it was worth it. Also had a pool and table tennis table which the kids enjoyed. Good value in a beautiful town!!

Philippe and Christine are wonderful hosts. Even though we arrived late, Philippe stayed up to welcome us. Christine’s breakfast is excellent. La Maison de l'Argentier du Roy Is a unique location in the old city that has been lovingly restored. Loches is an active, walkable town. Christine graciously made us reservations at an excellent local restaurant one evening.

Small very old mill that was turned into a hotel. Beautiful place on a small island in the middle of the river. The owner Laurent was looking to please us any way he can. Dinner was remarkable with sitting together with other guests and having a very pleasant evening. Excellent value for money and wonderful place.

This is a delightful old building with great character. It has a lovely courtyard garden. Bedroom was very comfortable. It's in a very quiet location, about a 20 minute walk from central Loches. Geraldine was delightful. There was a comfortable common sitting room.

It has great location with stairs leading to old city centre right across the hotel entrance. Parking was good at the time of the year and overall the hotel has a pleasant vibe.
