This is a most magnificent place to stay.Sophie was a pleasure to meet ,she could just not do too much for us .The rooms we had in the tower just cannot be described in words they are the best you will find anywhere.These rooms are full of history that can be appreciated by the attention to detail in the decoration and finish.The comfort and serenity are a joy to the senses .I must mention the beds they were really the most comfortable I have ever encountered. We had "Sophie breakfasts" they were absolutely perfect and a little different each time however the locally made butter (hand churned) and yogurt (from the farm next door) + Sophie's home made jams and bread /cake cannot be bettered. We will return in the future but I think getting a booking may be difficult as there will be a lot of return guests Jerry &Maeve Sept 2024

We love this property! The modern and comfortable room retaining that traditional touch, the peace and quiet of the nature surrounding it, the friendly and helpful host, the wonderful walk to town centre. Highly recommended. PS good to make advance reservation at the restaurants in town as they were packed.

Very friendly couple. Beautiful home made breakfast of jam, tart, yoghurt and crusty crossiants fresh from the local bakery. The pool was excellent. Lovely rural setting. The room as well appointed with a large shower.

A charming welcome from the owner. Lovely, clean and characterful room up in the attics. The pool was quiet and private with water at a very comfortable temperature. The food excellent, and the gold-medal-winning tripe sensational. I'm a convert.
