United KingdomWonderful place in the heart of Millau. Really friendly and helpful owners who went put of their way to ensure we were comfortable. Very good room ( gave us an upgrade ) with kettle etc. Also very warm given it was -4 c when we stayed. Good breakfast and we had supper there as well which was excellent. Free parking in the street outside or secure parking at a cost.

Millau is an attractive and lively town with a southern French outdoor vibe, It's a superb location for hiking and outdoor sports (canoeing, kayaking, rafting, paragliding) in general and the scenery in the Gorges du Tarn area is breathtaking.

Lovely town set in stunning countryside.
Lovely town set in stunning countryside.
The riverside location is very attractive, there are lots of restaurants and great walks and cycles in the countryside.
We’ve stayed at pleasant hotels and campsite in the town. Nearby are the Chaos de Montpellier le Vieux and the Gorge de la Dourbie, both worth a visit, not to mention the Millau Viaduct, with its small museum and viewing point.
Good for a few nights stopover to break a long journey.

People were very friendly.
People were very friendly. We found a great little restaurant thanks to asking a local barman who recommended it. Wished we stayed longer so that we could explore more on our road trip. Definitely worth another visit.

This was our third visit to Millau and we will return to the area in future. There is a lot to see and do and some very good, reasonably priced, restaurants. We enjoyed walking along the well kept river bank, visiting the museum and the Cité de Pierres.

I ended up in Millau by accident when my car broke down on...
I ended up in Millau by accident when my car broke down on the highway. When I arrived at the hotel I had booked overnight it was raining and the pizza prepared by the hotel was cold. However, all of that was compensated by seeing the Millau Viaduct poking out of the early morning fog in the valley as I left the town on my bus to Montpellier.

We travelled with our dog and there are beautiful walks...
We travelled with our dog and there are beautiful walks along the river where he could swim and play. Millau is also conveniently located close to the motorway junction and the scenery is jaw-dropping

A particularly stylish small hotel beautifully-run by a very friendly and efficient team. The owner is wonderful. Beautiful old building located close to the river. Really good restaurant recommendation too.

We stayed only one night and we liked everything!
The room was very clean, the staff was friendly and nice, convenient parking, there is a charger for electric cars, lovely restaurant next to the hotel.

Location was great, motorcycle parking directly outside hotel with railings to chain to if necessary, the town seems very safe and walking around was very pleasant
