Australiaour guy on check in was very informative and helpful with local knowledge and parking ideas and really made us feel welcome. the hotel is ideally situated and offers a good value breakfast including fresh cooked scrambled eggs and wonderful local jams.

Millau is an attractive and lively town with a southern French outdoor vibe, It's a superb location for hiking and outdoor sports (canoeing, kayaking, rafting, paragliding) in general and the scenery in the Gorges du Tarn area is breathtaking.

Lovely town set in stunning countryside.
Lovely town set in stunning countryside.
The riverside location is very attractive, there are lots of restaurants and great walks and cycles in the countryside.
We’ve stayed at pleasant hotels and campsite in the town. Nearby are the Chaos de Montpellier le Vieux and the Gorge de la Dourbie, both worth a visit, not to mention the Millau Viaduct, with its small museum and viewing point.
Good for a few nights stopover to break a long journey.

People were very friendly.
People were very friendly. We found a great little restaurant thanks to asking a local barman who recommended it. Wished we stayed longer so that we could explore more on our road trip. Definitely worth another visit.

This was our third visit to Millau and we will return to the area in future. There is a lot to see and do and some very good, reasonably priced, restaurants. We enjoyed walking along the well kept river bank, visiting the museum and the Cité de Pierres.

I ended up in Millau by accident when my car broke down on...
I ended up in Millau by accident when my car broke down on the highway. When I arrived at the hotel I had booked overnight it was raining and the pizza prepared by the hotel was cold. However, all of that was compensated by seeing the Millau Viaduct poking out of the early morning fog in the valley as I left the town on my bus to Montpellier.

We travelled with our dog and there are beautiful walks...
We travelled with our dog and there are beautiful walks along the river where he could swim and play. Millau is also conveniently located close to the motorway junction and the scenery is jaw-dropping

Convenient location - out of town, therefore easily accessible from arrival route, decent rooms, bathroom big enough to be a 'budget' hotel. Good breakfast. Private parking free of charge. Next to the hotel there is a good restaurant, very useful if you don't want to take the car again to go for dinner in town.
