Wonderful place in the heart of Millau. Really friendly and helpful owners who went put of their way to ensure we were comfortable. Very good room ( gave us an upgrade ) with kettle etc. Also very warm given it was -4 c when we stayed. Good breakfast and we had supper there as well which was excellent. Free parking in the street outside or secure parking at a cost.

Lovely town set in stunning countryside.

Lovely town set in stunning countryside. The riverside location is very attractive, there are lots of restaurants and great walks and cycles in the countryside. We’ve stayed at pleasant hotels and campsite in the town. Nearby are the Chaos de Montpellier le Vieux and the Gorge de la Dourbie, both worth a visit, not to mention the Millau Viaduct, with its small museum and viewing point. Good for a few nights stopover to break a long journey.

People were very friendly.

People were very friendly. We found a great little restaurant thanks to asking a local barman who recommended it. Wished we stayed longer so that we could explore more on our road trip. Definitely worth another visit.

This was our third visit to Millau and we will return to the...

This was our third visit to Millau and we will return to the area in future. There is a lot to see and do and some very good, reasonably priced, restaurants. We enjoyed walking along the well kept river bank, visiting the museum and the Cité de Pierres.

I ended up in Millau by accident when my car broke down on...

I ended up in Millau by accident when my car broke down on the highway. When I arrived at the hotel I had booked overnight it was raining and the pizza prepared by the hotel was cold. However, all of that was compensated by seeing the Millau Viaduct poking out of the early morning fog in the valley as I left the town on my bus to Montpellier.

We travelled with our dog and there are beautiful walks...

We travelled with our dog and there are beautiful walks along the river where he could swim and play. Millau is also conveniently located close to the motorway junction and the scenery is jaw-dropping

Thanks to our GPS it was easy to get around and to drive...

Thanks to our GPS it was easy to get around and to drive across town to get a close up look at the Viaduct. The town looked lively and well populated with a lot of people enjoying the arrival of summer.

Great location in centre of town. A bit confusing finding the place situated in pedestrianised area but instructions from the hotel made it clear that you can drive up to the entrance to unload bags and checkin. Very helpful and welcoming staff. Immaculate standards with very comfortable bed and nice tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Excellent wifi and recommendations for local restaurants extremely helpful. We had dinner at one of the recommended restaurants, Les Arcades, and the food and service was first class.

The room was pleasant enough for a budget hotel, the bed was a little uncomfortable for me but not the worst hotel bed I have stayed in. The view from our window was fantastic and the breakfast was great, loads to choose from and unlimited. They had a list of restaurants in the area for dinner and had a seated area outside for smokers. We didn't get to use the pool as it was too cold but it looked lovely.

Perfect staff. Perfect service fantastic hotel. The personnel went the extra mile to make us feel welcome very friendly and open. The restaurant had a very tasty and interesting menu and we enjoyed both visits (coming and going to our vacation destination) Breakfast was tasty as well although not continental (no eggs/sausages/etc.) and certainly filling. Worth the price and great coffee.
