This is an amazing place: An ancient, beautifully preserved castle/hunting lodge (one climbs up a spiral stone staircase to access the rooms!) with elegant modernization in the bathrooms, a pool, a zip line, and a beautiful park-like setting. The outdoor dinner was delicious and the breakfast spread ample. The staff went out of their way with friendly recommendations. (We were so pleased we visited the medieval town nearby.) It is an out-of-the-way place, but an out-of-this world experience!

It was absolutely amazing!! The apartment is renovated in a way that keeps the old character of the house but also provides modern facilities you need. The location is wonderful, right in the center of this amazing village, small but very nice. Having fresh baguettes and croissants waiting at the door in the morning was a nice touch. Together with the local products already in the fridge, it provided a nice and typical breakfast. We were truly impressed!

This 3-story attached home is located in an adorable, charming little village with free on-street parking out front. The home is beautifully updated, but still dripping with character and charm. Very quiet. Toilet is in separate water closet. Great shower. Great wifi. We chose it for it's proximity to Apremont-sur-Allier, which we wanted to see while we were in the area.
