Comparing other part of Paris, it's clean and quite. And the people is willing to help others - I can not read French, it's easy to find someone to help you to fix the car parking fee payment on road side.
I like the the location. Not far to Ligne 4 Metro & well served by buses. Also, it was surrounded by Supermarkets, Restaurants & Pubs. The Hotel itself was quiet clean. But the staffs have to make sure everything function well inside the room allocated to any customers. Staffs there are too short. Make sure at least 2 staffs are working daytime. Receptionist staffs must learn how to treat Customers by providing to them good customers services skills. My advice, send them in the UK for training. They can learn more from English people because French have a bad reputation on this. Too rude, not polite. In this world of the big concurrence, if you do not improve you will lose many customers. This is my advice.
The area is very pleasant has a lot of locals there there was an excellent bakery across from our hotel we was staying in that had delicious croissants and amazing coffee would recommend. each morning we went there was a man serving with dark hair he was very helpful and helped us along with our very limited French. the morning we was leaving there was a blonde woman serving who was so ignorant it was beyond a joke! Only due to us not having tome to find some where else for breakfast that I continued with my order. She deliberately pretended she couldn't speak English and blatantly talked barley about me in very fast French. but when it came to payment she told me in French and when I couldn't understand and asked if I could see it written down she could be perfectly good English to tell me how much how she wanted me to pay her. but I wouldn't have her put you off still try but if you see a blonde woman behind the counter be preperard! There was other restaurants in the area lots of sushi bars overall it was less touristy and quiet good for families.
I didn't have much time to explore and discover Montrouge. The main city center of Paris, it's monuments and architecture are the big draw and attraction. Will take a lot of time to really see everything.
For a quick trip to Paris, this hotel is ideal. It is on the main metro line so the city is not too far out. There is a few nice spot for eating in walking distance to the hotel. The rooms are "Paris style" small but comfortable. My room was at the back of the hotel and was very quiet. The staff is friendly and the breakfast was basic but nice.
Direct Metro into centre within a few mins walk. Lovely park nearby with lake and cafes. Quite a hidden jewel! Local restaurants are varied and very close. However the one thing seriously missing was lack of facillities for making a coffee ot tea in the room.
