L'Oustal del Barry, located at the entrance to Najac, one of the finest villages in France, opens onto magnificent grounds and a fine kitchen garden. Well located in a beautiful village. Room comfortable if a little small, but very good value for money. Very helpful and welcoming staff.
Providing garden views, El Camino De Najac in Najac provides accommodations, a shared lounge, a garden and a terrace. Unfortunately we only had a one night stay but we were greatly impressed with the friendly welcome and helpful advice offered by Caroline. The breakfast in the lovely back garden, looking up at the castle, was superb. Thanks for the wonderful hospitality.
Boasting a garden, Somn'en bulle is an eco-friendly property located in Najac, within 2 mi of Najac Castle. The double room is set in a bubble. This is something else - this place is meant for total relaxation and to forget the outside world. The bed with a view of the forest and stars is super comfortable and the bathroom amenities are provided in a very creative way. We also booked the big picknick basket and the food we got - also for breakfast - was fantastic. We want to come back and can recommend 100%!
Interesting historical town , lots of little shops, a good market Interesting old church and Tower to visit, but a lot of climbing up hills is involved, Very good camping site, down by the river.
Be prepared for walking up and down hill a great deal if you visit Najac. The Bakers in the square (on the left after the tourist information centre I think) make the best Quiche EVER! Warm in the oven for 10 minutes and serve with salad-worth every calorie. Let me know if you agree
The accommodation was large and beautifully decorated , with a comfortable shared great room. It was spotlessly clean and the breakfast included great cafe latte. Najac is a very special place, and is meant to be walked......cobbled streets are very narrow. Great eating places, too.
Absolutely wonderful location. Have been to Najac before and really like the village and surrounding area. Ate in most of the places in the village and really like the bakery and the bar opposite. Good for morning croissants and a coffee! Cordes, Villefranche (Thursday is market day) and St. Antonin all worth a visit as well as exploring Najac and the chateau.
Very interesting hilltop town with many interesting buildings around a grass square. Good walk to the castle 5euro. Lot of narrow, twisty and hills roads to get there, and away from but well worth it.
The town was quiet and beautiful. The main street is wide with a central petanque court thruogh the centre, with benches for watchers, trees lining the sides. The houses were very pretty and the roofs were curved stone or slate, unique.
