Located in Pontorson, Hôtel Victor Hugo features a bar, garden, terrace, and free WiFi throughout the property. Private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. I really loved staying in the hotel. It has a nice garden and stylish rooms. The elevator is small (just for one person or only luggages) but I think it is due to lack of space to install something bigger. On the other hand it was real fun for the kids :) Breakfast was amazing especially omelette. I recommend this hotel.

Located in Pontorson, 25 mi from Cancale, Le grenier du jardin provides a garden and free WiFi. The room is cozy and well decorated. It feels like you have your own little house for your stay. It is also very quiet, even though the house is located directly on one of the main road of Pontorson. Breakfast is great. And Valérie is a great host!
We had a lovely meal in Hotel Eugenie and would go again. The next night we ate across the road from this hotel in the Pizzeria, we would not return. No wine, only Heineken beer and they served my partner with a Pizza with a burnt crust. Poor value.
The village itself is small, but the main attraction is the nearby Mont St. Michel. It's only a short and cheap bus ride away, and instead of staying out in the country somewhere you can actually stay in a nice French village!
Lots of cheap places to eat. Supermarket. Various accommodation to suit all budgets. Lovely church. Right on the green routes for cycling and only a 10km walk or cycle along the river to St Mont Michel
The eating places were quite numerous, and the tourist office was very gracious, and answered all my questions concise. She was a very beautiful host and representative for the agency. I really like the market and made use of it during my stay.
Liked the fact that there were lots of Creperies, and one in particular serving gluten free gallettes. As a coeliac it was a real treat to eat pancakes! Lovely architecture and varied house styles, and a nice river walk. Lots of restaurants all within walking distance of the Hotel de Ville.
We found two good hotels to eat in during the evening, both near our B&B. Near to the station with the bus to Mont St. Michel. Make yourselves aware of the time table just outside the Station building, times on Sunday you may find difficult. We chose to drive to Mont St. Michel, park, then pay, before taking the free bus to the Mount. The paying machines are by the Visitor Centre, if you pay as you arrive you avoid queues on leaving.
Lovely old building but all comforts provided. Excellent bedroom and bathroom . Perfect owner . Lovely stay.
