A very nice clean room with a beautiful view overlooking the valley behind the hotel. I enjoyed an excellent dinner in the dining room. The service was great. It was a most enjoyable stop after our second stage walking Le Regordane. Highly recommended.

My room was modern and spacious within a 19C high street hotel Guests need to be able to climb up and down stairs easily The staff were helpful and made a reservation for me at a nearby restaurant - which was excellent. Dinner was not served on site when I stayed. Breakfast was on site & very good

A great place to relax! The lakeside cabins proved to be the perfect choice – clean, well-equipped (kitchenette, bathroom, comfortable beds), and with a beautiful view of the water from the terrace. The area is quiet and peaceful, perfect for relaxing, walking, or enjoying morning coffee while listening to birdsong. The lake is very close by – perfect for swimming, kayaking, and fishing. The only downside was the lack of internet access for the entire stay (8 days).

I received a phone call from the host as I finally reached the top of my long climb into the Ardèche during a long distance cycle race. Enquiring as to when I would arrive. I explained my fatigue and that it might take some time. I was assured that this was not a problem. On arrival I was greeted very warmly, shown my room and invited to dine too. During my whole 9 day, 2700km trip this was the only time I felt I just had to stay for breakfast, so kind were my hosts. The location is truly spectacular. By night the sense of peace and tranquility is extraordinary.

We had had a long days driving and had stayed in a really miserable hotel the night before for €110. Domaine de Barres was heaven. Lovely service from the lady on the front desk, great facilities, good food and a fantastic view. Would definitely recommend and stay there again

We loved our stay here! The host was lovely and accommodating, the rooms were very clean, comfortable and had excellent facilities, we also loved the jacuzzi and relaxation room. The location was great, being very close to lake coucouron and lake issarles! We found our stay very relaxing and would highly recommend it.
