Small hotel close to the historic centre of Rennes. Ecological, very comfortable, rooms spotless, athroom and shower gorgeous but the breakfast is spectacular. The staff are very friendly and helpful. i felt very at home here. I love it and the philosophy of the small team who run it. I could have stayed forever. 😊

We loved the friendliness of the staff in Hotel Kyriad Rennes..they were so helpful to us.The hotel was spotless and so lovely and warm on a cold afternoon. We especially loved the artwork and quotations that were all over the hotel. We had to leave early so we didn't get to enjoy breakfast..but we will stay for breakfast next time.

Rennes has some interesting landmarks and seems to be attempting to tidy up the centre. It is a student city and so this impacts on the image of the centre, perhaps according to your age range. So there is lots of nightlife and events happening but it will need time to tidy up the centre to make it appeal to all ages. Eating is also geared to a younger age range though we were happy enough with what we found. The railway station is a marvellous piece of modern architecture. Rennes is an excellent place to be based for travel to other nearby places e.g. Fougeres, an unmissable place.

Renees is an industrial city and not somewhere I'd stay for a holiday. Made worse as demonstrations were on whilst we were there and it didn't feel particularly safe. Good location to return to Paris by TGV after looking around Normandy and Mont Saint Michel.

Great spot to stay if you want to drive to Saint Malo or Mont Saint Michel, very nice town, bubbly student life and little spots to drink or eat. One day is enough but a great spot to move around if you rent a car. It's very close if you take a train from Paris.

One of the least interesting places in France in my opinion. Only worth staying for a day or two tops. The Saturday farmers market was amazing and so too Parc de Thabor! The Sunday flea market was not worth getting up for.

Friendly and helpful volumteer. The other staff, not so much. Comfortable and inviting common area & dining room , breakfast included. Useful guest kitchen, bunks with no light or curtain in dorm with ensuite shower. The hostel is a fair distance north from the train and bus station on the other side of the city centre via the picturesque old town centre. There is a CarreFour just up the street for provisions. Rennes is a good base for a daytrip to Mont Saint Michel

You cannot have a better location. It is close to several subway stations. It's a walking distance from the Gare de Rennes (15 min). The apartment is simple and cosy. Plenty of restaurants nearby. You will not be disappointed by the location of this apartment and the place is quiet. If you need anything, you can call Julien the property manager. He is helpful.

Love the location. Near the train station and yet only minutes from the old centre. This was my third time staying here and I will be back. The underground car parking is a great addition, although the hotel is a little tricky to reach by car due to the one-way system immediately around it. Perhaps 'Google Maps' is not the best in France! Merci

The hotel was slick with all facilities of the highest standard. Thoroughly enjoyed our too brief stay, breakfast was lovely and plentiful and the hotel was in the centre of Rennes with access to all the city had to offer. The staff were charming and the outdoor bar was a wonderful relaxing place to chill out after a busy day

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The reception area is like a warm living room of a house and the food was freshly prepared by the staff. I really enjoy the ambiance of the hotel and would recommend any one to stay there if travelling to Rennes.
