Great historic building with excellent facilities, good breakfast, onsite restaurant is excellent

Great location close to the A85 and to the city of Saumur. The price quality of this hotel is excellent and the staff are really impressive and are always welcome to help when needed.

Olivier could not have been more welcoming or helpful. He came out as we pulled up and allowed us to park our motorbikes in the garage. He even aquired free tickets for a wine tasting and tour of one of the caves and did some washing for me. The room was small but well equipped and comfortable and nice and quiet. Although it is a fair way from Saumur town center, the walk through the park and along the river every evening to go for dinner was lovely.

The Chateau was stunning. We received a very warm welcome on arrival. The room was beautiful, elegant and spacious. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Lovely restaurants near by. All in all a wonderful stay and will be back.
