Located in Saint-Antonin, 16 miles from Cordes-sur-Ciel, Le Jardin Secret has a terrace and free WiFi. There's a private bathroom with shower and a hairdryer in each unit, along with free toiletries. Great breakfast with fruit, croissants and coffee.
Set in the historic center of Saint-Antonin Noble Val, La Résidence offers B&B accommodations in an 15th-century house with a garden and furnished terrace. I absolutely LOVED my stay at La Residence!! What a gem, in every way! Richard was a 10/10 when it comes to hospitality! He helped carry my suitcase to my room upstairs, and they upgraded me to the terrace room, which was so beautiful, peaceful and magical!! They think of everything here!! I loved the decor and cozy extras like a large tea selection and throw blankets and soft towels! The terrace was fabulous for relaxing on in the afternoon and to watch the sunset! Breakfast was delicious!! I loved the banana bread especially! The gardens are stunning--gorgeous and brilliant flowers everywhere, beckoning you to sit and take it all in! Plus La Residence is super close to everything you want to see and experience in town, with lots of restaurants and shops near by! Thank you so much, Richard and Lisa, for making my stay so relaxing and unforgettable!! I would return to France, just to stay here again, and would recommend La Residence to any and everyone!!
At countryside location you will find a small scaled holiday resort, just 2.5 mi away from the Aveyron River and the medieval village of Saint Antonin Noble Val. Friendly owner, location was great, comfortable Gite, parking was nearby, overall great stay
Marie Colline a la Campagne features free WiFi and views of river in Saint-Antonin. All rooms boast a kitchen and a private bathroom. All rooms are equipped with a terrace. It was spacious, beautiful and by the river Aveyron. The hosts were what really made the stay exceptional, whatever the need or ask they were more than happy to help us. The first night we arrived around 8 PM with no restaurant reservation and they promptly found us a delicious place to dine. On the final day, we needed a lift to get our car that we had left at a wedding venue and they were more than happy to take us there. Anything to make life easy and our trip enjoyable. I have never stayed in a better B&B, the service was 5 star.
Located in Saint-Antonin, 30 miles from Gaillac, Le Refuge aux étoiles provides a terrace and free WiFi. There's a private bathroom with shower and a hairdryer in each unit, along with free... A lovely serene and calm oasis. Set amongst trees and fields it has numerous 'secret' shady spots to sit and think or drink! My room was up a set of stairs off a gallery overlooking the main hall. An ex barn with large table and chairs and comfortable chairs to relax in. All old wood, stone and terracotta tiles with a balcony with a beautiful view. My bedroom was clean and big enough with two single beds. Sloping ceilings and beams give it charm but watch your head. The shared bathroom was clean but small. Towels and soap rovided. Outside there are hammocks, chairs, logs, benches and loungers to sit in or lie on. The big 'stand alone' pool was crystal clear and warm and big enough to have a little swim in. Loungers to lie and sunbathe on. There are chickens roaming and some sheep and some lazy cats here and there. The evening meal was plentiful and good quality as was the breakfast. Jean-Baptiste and Pauline and Paul and Emily are all lovely and they are attentive and helpful and easy going. Plus the astronomy this is a wonderful restful and pretty place to stay above the bustle of Saint Antonin.
Lots of delightful small streets and alleys and a gorgeous bread shop. Restaurants in plenty, though not all open in September. Found the same restaurant where our host was eating with friends. During Covid most people were very conscious and careful.
The market is a must and the atmosphere in the square was friendly and welcoming. The town is full of history and character and all the cobbled streets lead eventually into the square where you can enjoy a cool glass of rose or a large beer. There are plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from and the food is delicious...especially the fresh pizza cooked to order.
Postcard perfect village on the banks of the Aveyron river at the foot of a gorge. Easy to navigate and a hive of artisan shops, food and local producers. Have a wander round the town, browse shops like Pied à Terre for curiosities for home and garden, enjoy a drink at Guinguette La Plage by the weir and top it off with an al fresco burger at Zoga or pizza by Les Halles. Walk, cycle or kayak it all off the next day!
Very quaint medieval place. Lots of places to eat. Lovely Sunday market. There is a planned walk that you can do on the back of the Tourist info map, all around the cobbled streets with pointers and info on some of the architecture etc. Would recommend the restaurant Babettes at the end of the bridge.
Architecture is stunning as is the maze of shady medieval streets. Shopping and eating places are plentiful..........arrive very early or book in advance for restaurants. Very crowded in summer season so would like to revisit in autumn to soak up the historical sites in a more tranquil atmosphere.
Fabulous and the Sunday morning market is just wonderful spreading through the streets of Saint Antonin. Lively bars, a good choice of restaurants, loads of lovely shops and great for sightseeing beyond.
La Résidence completely exceeded our expectations. We only stayed for two nights while visiting Saint-Antonin-Noble-Val, but we would go back to La Résidence in a heartbeat. The room was spacious, comfortable, and absolutely gorgeous. We were upgraded to the terrace room (thank you, Richard!) and loved every second of our stay. The breakfast was fabulous (thank you, Lisa!). We were impressed by the hospitality and attention to detail. Couldn't have wished for anything more. We wholeheartedly recommend La Résidence!
A very charming hotel with wonderful welcoming owners/hosts. Breakfasts were very nice. Our room was 'old world' (as expected given the age of the hotel; I often thought to myself - "if these walls could talk...") but with modern facilities tastefully incorporated. It was large and very comfortable. Just about everything the township has to offer was within comfortable walking distance.
This is more like a guest house and it feels different from living in a hotel. You get to have conversations with real local persons. The host and hostess are very nice and pleasant. The breakfast - personally prepared and delivered by the host - is awesome and heart warming.
