It was the best decision to stay outside Annecy in Sevrier. And the condo was amazing! First of all: the location is perfect. 15 min by bus (which stops right under the building) to Annecy. 1h walk if you wish:) the beach is 10 minutes walk, supermarket with amazing local produce is 7 min walk. Yes, there is a lively street which might be pretty noisy during the day, but quiet at night. I personally live in a big city, so this noise was bearable. Secondly, the building doesn’t get hot, it’s always pretty cool. Plus if you open windows upstairs and downstairs there is a nice air movement. Thirdly, there was an amazing coffee machine, tea, all the facilities you might need for kitchen or bathroom. We cooked all our meals to save on restaurants (which are actually pretty amazing in this area) Lots of blankets. I guess it is also good for a family of 4-5 in terms of sleeping spots. The apartement is on the 2nd floor, so you need to go through 2 staircases, which might be a problem with heavy luggage, but was bearable for us (2 adults) even with enormously heavy suitcases. Overall, the best decision to stay there. The city is a pearl, we fell in love with it Oh! And the views from all the windows of this apartment are incredible!!

The town is lovely, but with all the cars and the bicycles, as a pedestrian, you need to be careful where you go. There is a sort of two lane 'highway' for bicycles, that allows you to reach Annecy in about 20 minutes. However, I recommend to utilize the boot, also interesting for a round trip on the lake. I visited in May and it was already crowded with tourists, so maybe Januar of February would have been a better choice.

Great for lake bathing, hiring bikes, lots of places to eat in Sevrier. We enjoyed the Le Bistrot du port by the lake. A local shops and patisseries as well as a Lidl supermarket if needed. Good transport links by bus into Annecy and to the south, as well as boat trips / taxi. We had no car as we travelled by train to Annecy and got an Uber to Sevrier. We hired bikes here including an electric one from Bike Store 2830 who were great and cycled half way round the lake stopping for lunch and cycling back. There is also a walking trail up the hillside with a viewpoint over the Lake. Beautiful place, we hope to return.

Sévrier is well located for a stay at the lake of Annecy. It has several spots with easy access to the lake (this isn't true everywhere: there are fairly long stretches of the lake that are bordered by the road). Annecy itself is very nice but traffic is quite congested in the centre. Sévrier is also a good base to visit the Col de Semnoz, les Gorges du Fier, go parapenting at Doussard and of course Annecy. We ate at the Terracotta restaurant and the Poisson Rouge at Sévrier, and enjoyed both. Also worth a visit is restaurant La Savoyarde in Talloires at the other side of the lake: the pizzas at the ground level are really good (original recipes, not heavy with cheese, great dough)!

Would definitely recommend Sevrier as a place to stay on the lake. It has plenty of amenities within walking distance; an amazing boulangerie, a number of supermarkets and a few restaurants. It’s just the right distance from Annecey - an easy bike- ride away, but much quieter. There’s a really lovely grassy beach just 5 mins walk from the villa. And the cycle path runs next to Villa Cornelia, so super-easy to cycle everywhere and avoid getting into the car, unless you want to go into the mountains.

The lakeside position is just lovely.

The lakeside position is just lovely. Even out of season it had plenty to occupy our days. The Voie Verte is also a fantastic resource, wether as a safe cycle into Annecy or as a base for some serious cycle towards Albertville or the climbs above the lake. The city of Annecy is a short ride away (only 2€), with plenty to see, do and eat.

Great location for cycling a short distance into Annecy. The beach there is gorgeous and has toilets, showers and a cafe. Very family friendly too. We dined at a restaurant on the lake and it was idyllic.

Spacious apartment with great views of the lake (it surrounds all the windows of the living room). Located in Sevrier (close to Annecy) in a quite neighborhood right on the bike trails and within a walking distance to supermarkets and some local restaurants. The closest beach is within 10 minutes walk. The kitchen is well equipped and there is a dishwasher, a washing machine, a dryer, and air conditioning in the living room.

The flat was new, very nicely furnished. Good location, and bout 10 minutes walk from the beach and activities and a one minute walk from the shop and restaurants. The kitchen was very well equipped, and the terrace has a beautifully view on the mountains. In general we had a pleasant vacation in Sevrier.
