Great location for exploring the Loire Valley. Wonderful chateau. Room was giant by French sizes. AC was there, but we didn't need it as it was zero degrees! The room was quite comfortable, as was the bed. The breakfast was very good as well, pretty much everything we might have wanted. All in all, we enjoyed our stay, the people were nice and would most certainly go back again and recommend our friends go if they were heading there.

A real chateau! A long driveway, centuries-old trees, an English garden, a park, a pond, and forest all around! An old mansion with creaky floors and antique furniture. Antique paintings hang on the walls, and porcelain is on the table. It's like a museum, but everything is in excellent condition and usable. The bathrooms are very modern, large, and comfortable, and also have an antique charm. Everything is beautiful, carefully preserved, and beautifully decorated. The owner of the castle, Emanuel, is a charming and pleasant man. He greeted us and showed us around. He's happy to tell you about his surroundings, and it's worth it because every single thing in his castle is of historical value. And what a magnificent breakfast! In the old parlor, on antique porcelain! A variety of preserves from the castle garden. Delicious tea and fresh pastries! We were delighted! It was magnificent! Thank you, Emanuel!

Wonderful stay. The property is newly refurbished, spotlessly clean and has everything you could possibly need. You have a private driveway with electric gate. The property is right on the Cher river. Thiery was a perfect host. Welcoming, thorough and super friendly. We highly recommend.
