The restaurant meal was fabulous and good value. The staff spoke excellent English and had a great knowledge of wine to recommend. The secure parking and large grounds were also of benefit to me.

The place is run by a married couple: Peggy and Lorenzo. They’re true hosts. We were given a small but brand-new room with a little terrace. We arrived by motorcycle, and there was no problem parking it in the garden. Dinner is available upon request, and we took advantage of that. We didn’t regret it. We were served fantastic home-cooked food: an appetizer, a main course, and dessert. Peggy’s apple pie was divine. And, of course, the ever-present champagne. A pleasant group of diners gathered for dinner. Breakfast was fantastic. There were two main options to choose from: savory and sweet. We chose the sweet option. It included freshly baked croissants, jam, butter, various fruit juices, and yogurt. And, of course, the indispensable coffee to go with it. We had a wonderful time, and we’ll definitely be back. Thank you, Peggy and Lorenzo, for the unforgettable experience.
