The Welcome Hotel is situated in Villefranche-sur-Mer between Nice and Monte-Carlo. It offers air-conditioned rooms with a balcony overlooking Cap Ferrat Bay. Outstanding staff and service, ideal location, great views, fun bar with terrific martinis which are hard to come by in France. So fun to watch the world go by on the quay. Looking forward to our return next summer!
Located in Villefranche-sur-Mer and within a 5-minute walk of Place de la Paix, Le Vauban has a garden, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi. We loved the location, the room, the view, everything!

Sweetly decorated room with modern bathroom. Authentic French feeling. Bought coffee and croissants for breakfast downstairs and it was sooo good.

Very lively warm real village with a lot of international travelers. Nice beaches. Terrific restaurants. Enjoyed the market with the honey sales and other products. Convenient to Nice and other parts of the Côte d'Azur. Quieter than Nice.
It is a beautiful, quaint seaside village. The cafes are wonderful tucked inside the charming narrow passageways. The sea and beach are gorgeous and fun to enjoy. The restaurants have excellent local mussels and fois gras. Great shops and markets. Plan to walk up and down steep walkways as the village sits on a hill.
This town is, in my opinion, the one don't miss spot on the Riviera, sure there's Monaco, Nice, Cannes but if you're looking to relax and enjoy beautiful scenery, a pace a bit slower than the larger cities, Villefranche-sur-Mur is the ideal spot.
Dreamy place, can't put a finger on it, something in the air/sea/? Go, don't spoil it. Great people watching. Walk around Cap Ferret - it's gorgeous. L'Aparte is a nice restaurant to try.
The absolute best vacation town on the Côtes d'Azur! It's location makes visiting all of the cities on the coast easy and affordable by bus or train. Day trips to Italy, Monaco and the many towns in the south of France are a snap. The beach is sandy and wide. The Villefranche Harbor hosts cruise ships as well as sailboats, fishing boats, and kayaks. A spectacular view of the town, harbor, St. Jean and Cap Ferat can be seen from Fort Alban a healthy hike up from the Vielle Ville. Restaurants in the Vielle Ville serve fabulous French cuisine, especially seafood, and also accommodate those who prefer hamburgers and chips. There are breathtaking hikes along the rocky Mediterranean Sea as well as through the hills. And of course, Villefranche borders on Nice, easily accessible by bus ora 30 minute walk.
The friendly people are just fantastic, as is the location next to Cap Ferrat, and being located between Nice and Monaco - both short trips on either a train or bus to/from Villefranche. The great la citadelle fortress built in the 16th century is a fun visit . A trip to Eze,, cap St Jean , Beaulieu is all very exciting with unimaginable views. The restaurants serve wonderful french food with outstanding service.

Hôtel La Fiancée du Pirate is excellent. The owners and all staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room had picturesque views and starting our day with delicious breakfast on the terrace was simply amazing. Our room was clean and tastefully decorated. Not a fancy hotel but definitely lovely. We enjoyed our stay very much. Highly recommended!

The hotel is family owned and the whole family is often present and ready to have a chat - we really felt like a family guest by the end of our stay! Having a cafe/bar right downstairs was very convenient, especially since the hotel is about a 7 min walk from the main stretch of restaurants down by the water.

Perfect location ... amazing views, on an excellent bus route. Absolutely every convenience and utensil carefully thought of. Spotlessly clean .... ate in most nights because we had the best table in Villefranche all to ourselves. No photos compare to the real views.

A truly lovely hotel with stunning views - the location is outstanding. The staff at the hotel are the best that we've ever encountered - nothing is too much trouble. We'll definitely be back!

The views are fabulous..............hotel is very well located. We've stayed here many times and the biggest downside is the cost of breakfast. At 18 euro a head its ridiculous

An incredible stay in a fabulous apartment. We have travelled extensively (and have been to Nice twice before) however, this has been one of our best holidays ever. We were initially flight delayed, and I was concerned that this would be an issue, however, I emailed the team and Damien replied immediately, and arranged to meet us at the apartment at our new arrival time, (whenever that was going to be? we still didn't have a confirmed time) - so that level of response is incredibly reassuring. On arrival he gave us a full tour and explanation of the apartment and all its facilities. I had forgotten to ask a couple of things, so another email was sent- and again all sorted in a heartbeat. We are real foodies and love a meal out, and did go down to Villefranche seafront to eat one night, but the problem was, none of the restaurants had such a spectacular view of the bay. So in a world's first for us, we shopped at the local Butcher/Baker and Casino Supermarket in Villefranche/Col and enjoyed dinner on the terrace in 6 nights out of seven. I can only hope that we can find a vacant week twice a year from now on. Spent a lot of time exploring the beautiful old town and all it's charms. When we were booking this holiday we had many plans to visit the surrounding area's (Beaulieu sur mer/Cap Ferrat/Eze etc. After one Sunrise/day/Sunset on this top floor beauty we decided that our priority was to stay here. Yes, we were blessed by the weather, but I can honestly say that Villefranche is a blessed place, full of kind, friendly and polite people, and we loved every minute of our holiday.

Great location for the family as its right by the beach and the train station giving you the best of both worlds if you want to relax or go site seeing in Nice, Cannes, Monaco, etc. The view from the balcony was stunning both in the morning and at night. Sitting outside having dinner and breakfast bought from the local supermarkets in Nice was fantastic. It does have free parking but getting there is very complex for visitors unfamiliar to the area. The roads are very windy and narrow to get to the hotel and especially the free parking - confident driving skills are a must! The check in manager will show you where the free parking is. We parked in the public car park to begin with and then carried our bags a long way. We didn't need to do that as the free car park is really close. The entrance is to the left of the restaurant and is not that obvious.

Do not book. We were downgraded from a “luxury” villa due to water damage to a disgusting location with no water or power. The manager/owner won’t answer my emails for a refund. Our 1 night stay in a hole with blocked toilets and sink cost us €500. As far as I am concerned they have stolen our money.

Perfect location, great pool, extremely friendly host. Highly recommended for family vacation - or relaxing reviera stay. No car needed if you are a good walker (much less stressful and more beautiful by foot!).
7.2 Good 22 reviews
The location, the little terrace, the separateness of the two bedrooms, good showers, two entrances.
