Located just 15 minutes’ drive from the picturesque Colwyn Bay, this charming, family-run, Grade II listed building dates back to 1706 and features 2 acres of private grounds. Stuart and Susan were amazing, friendly and caring. The Ffarm House is beautifully appointed and conveniently located. Breakfast was outstanding in quality/quantity with great coffee. Lots of wonderful recommendations for local things to do. The drawing room, with an honesty bar, had a nice collection of books on regional walks, which we were encouraged to take along on our hikes and did! Also great recos on local places to eat and inspiring ways to drive to them to appreciate the natural beauty of this region. Evening meals can be booked in advance and if breakfast was representative, they should be wonderful. The Venice room (on the front above the breakfast nook and reception) was spacious and ensuite bathroom incredibly spacious. We loved our first night so much we stayed a second and were not disappointed - Definitely will stay again if in north Wales.

Llys Alaw is an accommodations located in Abergele, 11 mi from Gwrych Castle and 12 mi from Knightly's Fun Park.
It’s a very rundown small town. Nothing against the people who live and work there as they were all very friendly. However, such a shame that apart from a castle there is not much to do at all. No nice shops and when we arrived on Monday no place open for breakfast. Town centre in need of serious renovation.
A small town with basic shopping facilities but had a Tesco Supermarket which catered for all needs, sometakeaways (not used) & little by way of restaurants, yet travel a little further afield for some lovely country pubs
Lovely little town with a gorgeous sea front. Lots of little shops and cafes, not overpriced. An arcade on the seafront. The hot weather made our trip even better. Also went to see the Gwrych Castle, this is a great place to visit and doesn't cost the earth!
Getting around was easy. Just be aware there are a number of single track roads with few passing places. Gwrych Castle was not easy to find, but worth a visit. No direct signs on the road. We ate out in Conwy and Llandudno, which are both easy to get to from the property.
Well located with a mix of countryside or coastal surroundings. Small town but a reasonable variety of eating & drinking venues. Lots of places of interets locally and within a short drive so an ideal venue for a break
just fabulous, really warm and clean, food just great atmosphere superb the hosts were fabulous you could not fault them they did everything to make you feel welcome, and such lovely surroundings, would highly recommend all to stay at any time, it was good value for money just can't wait to go again

We had a lovely stay at the ty gwyn. Caravan is lovely and clean. We met the owner and she was lovely and was always quick to respond to any messages. Plenty to do around the area. On a main bus route from rhyl to Llandudno. Walkable distance from Abergele train station. We would love to stay again.
Clean and very spacious caravan. The en-suite toilet for the main bedroom nice bonus. Kitchen well equipped but oven barely worked. Microwave useful. Good morning sun in the deck but no late afternoon sun. Lovely to be able to have 5 min walk to beach and coastal walk into Abergele
The location and tent was so comfortable and clean. Winnie the dog very friendly and fresh eggs to cook for breakfast. Easy access to Rhos on sea, Conway and Abergele.

Amazing building, homely feel and it didn't feel like I was in a hotel. I instantly relaxed and switched off from work the minute I walked through the door
The spa was really nice and the meal in the hotel was lovey.
