The property was amazing perched up on the hill, with exceptional views across the valley. Attention to detail was on point and nothing was too difficult for the staff and management. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. Our room was perfect with a beautiful view. The grounds were well cared for. This property is a 10/10 on all levels.

The management double booked the room for which we paid £203 pounds in advance. We were offered the Spare Room but no financial compensation adjustment. As it was after dinner when we were told it was not possible for us to find alternative accommodation.

We really liked Aberlour as a homebase for our stay in Speyside. We were there mostly for distilleries and relaxing. We used a local taxi service to get around (Craigellachie cars) and would highly recommend. They picked us up from our hotel in Aberlour and went to Macallan one day and Glenfiddich the next. The drivers love to share information about the area, which was nice. Aberlour is great to get on the Speyside river trail and there are a few stores on the main street (bottle shop and a cute market for food and souvenirs).

Aberlour is a very nice and friendly town, with many nice shops and a magnificent community garden project. Good eating places, super place to base yourself for discovering the Spay side attractions. Will definitely be back again next year.

Aberlour has a bit of everything "Scotland" in Speyside.

Aberlour has a bit of everything "Scotland" in Speyside. In town, there is a nature walk to a waterfall, a distillery, the Dowans hotel and restaurant (amazing food), shops and shopping, Walker Shortbread, all next to the River Spey. Other distilleries are nearby if that is your interest. It is a great place to pop in for a meal, groceries, shopping, or just to walk around for a while.

Aberlour is a beautiful Speyside town in Scotland.

Aberlour is a beautiful Speyside town in Scotland. It's clear people here take pride in the place - very tidy, hanging baskets, no litter etc. Charming to visit. There is plenty to do in the town and the surrounding area. No shortage of distilleries to visit, nice restaurants, pubs, cafes and great hotels. The weather varies greatly by season so come prepared. Lots to do outside - fishing, walking, mountain biking and much more. Heartily recommend it!

Walkers shortbread shop worth a visit if you have a sweet tooth. Mash Tunn is excellent for lunch. Speyside larder has some very tasty items and the butcher does some excellent pies. Especially the beef and black pudding....

Situated right in the heart of Aberlour and a minutes walk to the River Spey, this is the perfect base for exploring Speyside and its distilleries. The Mash Tun Hotel with its many whiskies is just across the park. There’s great coffee just across the road. This place is very comfortable and very clean. And the breakfasts are awesome!

Characterful authentic small Scottish hotel with an excellent range of whisky for sale in the bar. The room was small, as was the double bed, but it was very comfortable, and we slept well. Breakfast was very good.. All staff were friendly and professional.
