Set in a prime location on the outskirts of Bristol, Almondsbury Interchange Hotel offers en suite accommodations, free parking and a bar. The booking and checking in were easy. Sian the lady on duty was very welcoming and explained the covid related cleaning clearly. My wife and I felt very at home and well taken care of. Definitely would visit again and recommend it to others.
This historic inn offers great accommodations, excellent food, fine wine and real ales. The rooms and bathrooms at Bowl Inn have recently been refurbished, and all feature a Freeview cable TV. Excellent accomodation, traditional Inn that has history. Very friendly and accommodating staff. There is a restaurant and bar on site which we ate at, food was excellent. Breakfast was excellent, good variety and cooked fresh.. Good quality linen and towels and little extras of sparkling water and biscuits in the room. Would recommend this property. Would be beautiful to stay at Christmas with the surroundings.
An easy drive from the M4 and M5 motorways, the child-friendly DoubleTree by Hilton Bristol has a health club with a gym, swimming pool and hot tub, and is just 15 minutes from Bristol city center. The staff were polite and swift to deal with and very polite room service was very quick and warm and fresh and very tasty
Located close to the M4, M5 and Cribbs Causeway, Lodge at Bristol features 36 contemporary double bedrooms with high-spec private bathrooms. The staff was superb. Helped us with computer issues. Help us get a package shipped. Went out of their way to accommodate. Especially the manager.
These spacious, well appointed apartments are just half a mile from the M5 motorway and a 15-minute drive from Bristol center. They consist of fully equipped kitchens, free parking and free WiFi. A lot of space, internet worked great, good TV, comfortable beds
Located in Bristol, 8.1 mi from Bristol Zoo Gardens, The Jays Guest House features accommodations with free WiFi and free private parking. The couple who own the guest house are the loveliest people. We were going to an event and couldn't find a taxi so they gave us a lift. They are so welcoming and happy to help with anything.
The only good thing about this room, was the clean bed. Around the window was mouldy, the wallpaper was peeling, the carpet tiles used on the floor were not matched properly and were coming up, mouldy caulking in bathroom and a very dirty sink.. I could go on and on. The kicker was probably the shower scalding us, but hey.. great water pressure! This isn't somewhere I'd come anywhere near again.. and I only really stayed here because I was attending a local wedding. I guess it's what's expected for a hotel charging around £70 per night. Glad I brought my own pillow.
We liked the pleasant country feel, the good parking, the access to M4, 5 & 32, Aztec West and Cribbs Causeway Shopping Centre. Excellent value for money, very comfy bed, en suite bathroom and tea making facilities. We did not order breakfast. The Receptionist was very efficient and even volunteered to change our room to a downstairs one when she saw our ages. Renovations continue, which will improve things further. We will return and recommend it to others
Almondsbury is a lovely village just off the m5 motorway and A38. It has a gorgeous old church and some pretty walks. There are a lot of very old gravestones in the churchyard next door to the Bowl Inn
The roads were to to busy and not easy to drive around we often found we were in the wrong lane or something, not good on such large road systems. We also went to the Toby for a roast ,I can say I wish we never bothered ,it was dreadful 🙁
We used live in the area and find it a handy location for visiting relatives. There are few amenities (shops etc) but Bristol is not too far away or The Mall shopping centre. The surrounding countryside is lovely and you can take the motorway to Wales in a few minutes. Motorway access for North, South,East or West is in close proximity ..There is a golf club in the nearby town of Thornbury
very pleasant and clean Hotel. Limited restaurant but good quality for a budget hotel. Only downside is no wifi in the room which makes it expensive to use data every evening. Wifi available in the bar/restaurant but not in the room. 15 minute walk to Aztec West and just next to the M4 M5 intersection turn off. Transport links superb. They need to put wifi in the rooms to make this place perfect for a Budget Hotel.
