We stayed in one of the gatehouse rooms, a little away from the main hotel. It was absolutely charming, with a sitting room and private parking. Excellent bed and excellent shower, with good pillows (which make an amazing difference between an OK hotel stay and a great hotel stay). Dinner and breakfast at the hotel we’re both very very good, with excellent options for breakfast. The restaurant has beautiful views. Staff was incredibly attentive and very nice. Overall, the hotel was quiet, very clean and very comfortable. definitely would recommend to stay here.

Our hosts were lovely and our stay was brilliant. Clean and well run Bed & Breakfast. Very welcoming. We were able to get our laundry done for a very reasonable price and our host was kind enough to run us down to the ferry for only 20 quid on a bank holiday weekend (taxis were charging 90 quid). Our breakfast was great. Highly recommend this place for the weary traveler even though it's a bit off the beaten path from Bangor and Holyhead. Worth the extra effort.

The beach was very sandy and not too busy.

The beach was very sandy and not too busy. It was dog-friendly as well. We visited our friend who is one of the locals so we didn't travel about much. We are coming back a month or so later as enjoyed our stay that much!!

Really enjoyed our day there, walked up and around hillside then had our lunch, drove down to the harbour port and walked all around, children were swimming in the harbour saying that the water was warm!! Lot of fun watching them,we had a drink at the local pub and they had our favourite caffery bear🤪🤩🤩 chippy next door so finished our lovely day out with fish and chips 🤩🤩 lovely little village do visit it when in Anglesey 😍lots to do on island for young and elderly.

A small place with very nice and different scenery has some historical bits too see and a nice small harbour. There are many activities taking place in the area and can spend more days in Amlwch to visit nearby areas with beautiful landscape.

The town of Amlwch is nothing special.

The town of Amlwch is nothing special. In fact there is very little here at all. You can access nice coastal walks from the town and obviously it is easy to get to all the lovely beaches of Anglesey.

This was a good centre to explore other places on the Island from but it's not somewhere I would stay again - although the hotel was amazing. The town looked as if it had been left behind after what was probably a successful industrial past. There was nothing to do there and very limited choice for other places to eat out.

We really like Amlwch and the surrounding places on the north coast of Anglesey. Fantastic views, coastal walks and beaches. Recommend a walk around Parys mountain (Copper Kingdom) - a lovely walk with interesting history and amazing views. Sadly the museum about the history of Copper mining in this area, located by Amlwch harbour never seems to be open.

The location was excellent as anywhere on the island is only 30 minutes away. The room was comfortable and quiet with excellent facilities. Everything was there for you without having to ask. The breakfasts were excellent, probably up there with the best, the food was cooked. Perfectly. We had dinner on both nights we were there and the food was superb at reasonable cost. All the staff were very friendly. I couldn’t fault this hotel, having stayed in many over the years. You wont go wrong with this choice. Excellent

Very quiet - surrounded by fields - near to Pt Lynas for dolphins watching Very cosy once we’d worked out storage heaters! Good WiFi and smart tv. Lots of games. Everything we needed - grandparents, married couple and 4 year old. Plus 2 dogs. Large garden/lawn around. Could watch but not hear fireworks at Amlwch which was ideal for the dogs! Conservatory also great for watching sunrise and sunsets. And the stars there are amazing. Dark skies!!!!
