Outstanding, Mike is simply one of the best hosts…room was prefect and really big, shower and bathroom amazing… Do yourselves a favour and book in, Mike will take great care of you, nothing is to much trouble…and he loves a good old chat which I find very welcoming and homely.
I've travelled over the west coast of Scotland many times over the years for work and leisure purposes . The most recent years was on motorbike tours basing ourselves in Oban. I always liked the coastal road from Oban, through Appin towards Glencoe . I remembered thinking what a great place to base ourselves for a outdoor holiday. There is so many local activities available to keep yourself busy but you really need a car. The Creagan Inn was our local and was so welcoming and the food was fantastic.
Views are spectacular of Loch and grounds.Kitchen is well stocked with equipment just didn't use much as ate out every day.Bathroom is to die and mirror light is good for getting up through the night. Living room is comfy and balcony furniture is great as well with bonus of views.
Views of Appin Bay (and Stalker Castle) did not disappoint! Found ourselves coming back early in order to catch sunset from the deck. Breakfast was fantastic and we thoroughly enjoyed talking with Mike. Phenomenal host! Would definately recommend!
Area is amazing, just a few minutes drive to find groceries plus its round 25 mins to Oban and Fort William. I highly recommend the Chocolate company in Oban for chocolate lovers!
