Stream Cottage, 450 year old thatched cottage is located in Dedham and offers a garden, barbecue facilities and a terrace. Extremely comfortable and well equipped cottage. Location excellent and everything made easy and welcoming.

The Pheasant Retreat and Pheasant Lodge and Pheasant Suite are located in the grounds of Balls Farm, a 17th-century farmhouse surrounded by fields and wildlife. If you are concerned about safety during COVID, don’t be. The Pheasant Retreat is secluded and private. Spotlessly clean and very spacious. No contact with the host except by text if we needed it. Beautiful garden to sit out in day or night and totally relaxing. I cannot recommend this property enough.

Located just off the A12, Holiday Inn Express Colchester offers air-conditioned, modern bedrooms with satellite TVs. There is a restaurant, a bar and free private parking. Nice breakfast. Nice location. We only stayed one night; much like the other Holiday Inn Express facilities we stayed at. A computer and printer would be nice for customer use.

Set in Mile End in the Essex region, Catchpole Stays- Highwoods House- A lovely 2 bed zoo themed house sitting towards the north of Colchester features a garden. Stayed there for 2 nights for the August Bank Holiday and it was just perfect. 12 minutes from Colchester zoo, less than 10 minutes to Colchester castle and a large Tesco Extra just within 1 minute drive. There is a bus stop not too far if you prefer to use public transport. The accommodation was very clean and exceptionally well equipped with great attention to detail. The hosts are easily reached and very responsive when we had queries. Would highly recommend.

Spacious 3-Bedroom Home is set in Mile End. Guests staying at this apartment have access to a fully equipped kitchen. The property is extremely great value for money! Extremely spacious for large families and a very cosy house. And we really enjoyed the power shower and cleanliness of the property. The owner was an amazing host, issues even trivial are quickly resolved through timely communications. I would recommend this place wholeheartedly to anyone planning to stay in Colchester.
