Loved the older style of the hotel. Rooms was spacious, clean and beds comfy. Restaurant attached (including bar) was very good and good value. Wish I had been able to stay longer and explore the local area.

We did the walking tour and it was well worth the £6. Armagh is a city full of history and there is a core group of people working very hard to keep the city alive and vibrant. It is a very friendly city where everyone seems to know everyone else and outsiders are made very welcome. We also visited the Planetarium/Observatory and that is a treat for any age group. There are also lovely walks around it. We ate in Keegan's pub (ask anyone the way to it) and loved the food and the Guinness. I would very highly recommend a visit to Armagh for people of any age, there is something there for everyone.

The city itself was a nice place to visit with lots of great shops, cafes and eateries. The area around the city is a great place for views, countryside walks and again lots of places to eat, drink and chill.

Interesting for a family visit with Planetarium and historical information in Museums. Lots of open space. Morelli's crepes and ice cream big hit with everyone on our trip. Chance visit to the Men's shed was an added bonus - very helpful and knowledgable members

Got a clear sense of history in the city, with plenty of locations to visit and to get a feel for the place. As the city itself is not too big all of attractions and places of interest are within walking distance of each other.

Lovely park and walk beside hotel...enjoyed shops...lovely cathedral....just one little hicup..after leaving cathedral i went to filling station opposite as i needed to pick up a few things..i asked the little girl behind the counter if they had a toilet i could use...she replied no which was ok but i found her rude and not in the least bit friendly, unlike some of the other shops i visited...apart from that i had a great time in Armagh😁

The hotel offers fair value for money, but the bedrooms are looking a bit tired. Dinner in the bar area was fine, and breakfast in the restaurant was very good.
