Hotel in Ballachulish
Located 8.2 miles from Loch Linnhe, Clachaig Inn offers 3-star accommodations in Ballachulish and has a bar. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a playground. Really enjoyed my short stay at the Clachaig, especially thanks to the super friendly and welcoming staff in both reception and the boots bar! A wonderful atmosphere for socializing and meeting other travelers over a drink downstairs. The bar selection is impressive! My single occupant room was small but had everything I needed, and the views from the window of the mountains were spectacular.

Camus Bhan is located in Ballachulish, 17 miles from Glen Nevis, a 13-minute walk from Massacre of Glencoe, as well as 17 miles from West Highland Museum. The location was stunning, the front windows looked towards the loch and mountains, the back looked towards the woods. The house was massive. As there was only two of us, we just used the downstairs and there was more than enough room. There were another two rooms upstairs, each with their own en suite. The bathroom downstairs was beautiful, with a huge bath tub and a separate shower. The bed was really comfortable. There was everything we needed in the kitchen, the hosts had thought of everything. Plenty of room to park a car at the back of the house in a little car port. Shall certainly be back, we loved it.

No.2 Quarry Cottages is located in Ballachulish, 16 miles from Glen Nevis and 1.7 miles from Massacre of Glencoe, in an area where fishing can be enjoyed. Really excellent location with easy access to local walks, supermarket, cafe and fish and chip shop. Spacious open plan downstairs, both bedrooms had plenty of storage and space. Heating downstairs was efficient.
attractive village next to a loch. Handy reasonably short drive to Glencoe chairlift. Good place to stay for winter sports enthusiasts because if the mountain closes for bad weather Ballachulish has some good walks down by the loch and in the woods behind at low altitude so milder and more sheltered from the wind. so there is something to do and enjoy. Good spar shop to get supplies if you are self catering.
Totally let down on our return visit by their unilateral cancellation of our booking at very short notice and with no real explanation. A subsequent e mail to them offering the opportunity to respond was not answered
Ballachulish is small with only a handful or places to eat and drink, which we found a bit restrictive as most of them closed at 8pm. The Laroch served nice food, as did the Quarriers Kitchen next door serving takeaway fish, chips, and pizza. Unfortunately we found the area didn't cater well to vegetarians/vegans. The lochside location of Ballachulish is beautiful and a great spot for access to Glencoe.
Superb stay with everything you could want from a B&B - easy parking & a warm welcome from annamarie and steve, a comfortable room, superb location with outdoor seating on the shores of the loch, and a great breakfast cooked to order in the morning. Will definitely be back!
Area was ok and quiet but the property was tired, unloved, there was no food available which was not mentioned. The room was tired and not clean enough. No cold water tap working in bathroom. Bath water was tepid. Small details that make these places was non existent. Other guest houses in area were better, cheaper and included breakfast. Just not good enough
The room was lovely. However no sign of hosts, they seemed to disappear once the room was shown. No information leaflets, no phone number in case of emergency, no sign of breakfast which was booked, no explanation given even if COVID was the reason for lack of breakfast. We were left bewildered. All very surreal. 😯

the house and room/bathroom was absolutely terrific. the owners went above and beyond to make us comfortable, inviting us to enjoy their outdoor area, offering us countless refreshments and offering suggestions of nearby restaurants. the hosts even made us breakfast for the road since we couldn’t stay. they also supplied us with water and snacks for the road! they are lovely people and we would stay again in a heartbeat!
Ballachulish
Spotlessly clean cabin and equipped with everything we needed. Hosts are really friendly and helpful. Location is in the woodlands, but still close enough to local amenities, with lovely walks by the loch and the nearby Ballachulish hotel was only a 10 minute walk away. Everything we wanted for a family break and would highly recommend!
Ballachulish
very comfortable and well located for our photography trip to Glencoe. Just minutes from some of the main locations. Be careful out of season for early closing times in local restaurants etc.

Very comfortable accommodations after a long day of touring. Johnny, a very affable man was a terrific host. Made us feel very welcome.

Friendly welcome. Very clean accommodation. Well equipped kitchen. Managed to get wood for wood burner in request. Very quiet location.
The staff, especially the young girls in the bar/breakfast room, and the lovely lady at the desk were a real credit to the hotel!
