Llety Pant Teg B and B is a family-run Bed and Breakfast set in the leafy village of Tregarth on the outskirts of Bangor between Bethesda and Llanberis. Free WiFi access is available. I like Brian, the host's approach and readiness to answer all my questions and provide me with advice about attractions in the area. A full English breakfast was very good, the bedroom spacious and a jet shower really relaxing. I am really pleased I have chosen Pant Teg B&B as it's located in the middle of all places that I had planned to visit. I would recommend this B&B to anyone who appreciates a quiet night's sleep.

Bangor is a predominantly quiet town, dominated by its large student population. Hence facilities tend to be geared to the student population. Pubs are basic, food served is basic, there is a lack of decent eateries that cater for a wider audience. Lots of take aways and cheap Indian and Chinese food. Town is quite hilly too, so wouldn't suit a less active group. The Seafront is not well utilised aside from a very nice pier. We used the town as a base for exploring Snowdonia, which is only a few miles away. Menai Bridge and consequent access to Anglesey is close too. For these reasons, it is not a bad place to use as a base.
Bangor is an interesting town to visit, a lot of history. Some areas are a little run down but show me a town that's not. My last visit was around 35 years ago to the A&E hospital, while on holiday when I a broke my ankle . So this was a vast improvement on my last visit :o)
Great cathedral and a good base to explore the nearby area. The station is ten minutes walk from the city centre. A range of supermarkets including Asda and Morrisons (which has a café). There are a range of eateries, including a Weatherspoons, a Costa, Starbucks and KFC. Good bus services also.
The reason we liked Bangor was that it is right near the Menai Bridge that takes you across to Anglesey which is a stunning little island. Bangor is very well placed to enjoy and explore beautiful Snowdonia.
Bangor is a beautiful City. The Bay Tree lodge was taken over by new owners while we stayed there, I left my iPods behind and the old owners said they found them and would return them but to date the new owners can not find them and are working very hard to locate them and return them to me. I will keep you posted on that one,
Bangor and Wales is general is a beautiful part of the world. Everyone we came in contact with was very nice and pleasant. We had one day to drive around the countryside and Snowdonia mountain area. I wish we had more time to explore. So picturesque!
Bangor
The property was clean, and although on the edge of a slightly grim council estate- the location is pretty central to most places to visit in North Wales. The kitchen facilities (although no dishwasher) were ideal and of a good variety. The property is easy to locate. Plenty of parking and the outside garden is a nice space to enjoy- if you have the weather
Bangor
The hotel is situated overlooking Bangor pier and the views from the restaurant are superb. The room was old fashioned but clean, the bathroom and shower is new and very good. Check in was easy. Dinner is reviewed below. Breakfast was very good with the breakfast waitress very friendly and helpful. Overall, a good stay and would again if in Bangor.
Great little find. Great size room (we had the family room). We had a couple of minor issues but these were all dealt with very quickly and effectively. Staff were all really friendly and the atmosphere of the hotel was great. We stayed here as we were walking up Snowdon (was about a 20 mins drive for us to get to the starting point).

This cool little studio was perfect for me. Its very clean and comfortable. Customer service staff who I communicated with was super friendly and accommodating. Snowdonia National Park is also nearby which was a huge plus. Highly recommended! Would love to stay there again when I'm back in Bangor.
Bangor
Great location for exploring North Wales and Anglesey. Apartment was very modern, well equipped with great furnishing and fittings. In a wonderfully quiet and restful location, despite being amongst a number of other apartments we didn't see or hear another person.
The proximity to every needed facility, train, bus, shopping, city centre and the university of Bangor. The staff warm welcome and attention to details. The support I received to find my way around was overwhelming.
