Between the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales, this former 17th-century inn is rich in original character and traditional charm, offering good food, real ales and log fires. Excellent allround from arriving, breakfast, evening meal & the staff, there is nothing to fault the place!!!!
Located in Kirkby Lonsdale, 21 mi from Bowness-on-Windermere, Ullathorns Farm features a shared lounge and free WiFi. A Full English/Irish breakfast is available each morning at the farm stay. WE LOVED EVERY LITTLE THING - WOW !!! What a priviledge to be able to stay here.
A great pub in the village with good food, great fires and a comfy sitting room area. Lots to explore in and around the village and then small towns easily reached by car or bike for supermarket and interesting shops but without crowds.
The easy access to footpaths from the doorstep and exploring Barbon and surrounding areas. Had visits to Kirby Lonsdale, sedbergh . Dent and a stunning walk doing one of Wainwrights favourite fells . Howgills. Absolutely amazing week end.
Lovely quiet location, pub very busy, evening meal was great. We walked to the Churchmouse cafe for a coffee but because of the warm weather it was full of wasps! Kirkby Lonsdale 3 miles away, is very pretty with lots of pubs, restaurants and boutique shops.
A very old inn with lots of character, lovely staff who were very helpful in a lovely spot just outside Kirkby Lonsdale. Rooms could do with being redecorated but wasn.t a problem. Private parking there too. All in all a lovely weekend break with good food and ambience
Its a lovely small village with good access to both Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District. And - special; bonus for some - great biking. So glad I brought my road bike as there is a fabulous circular route to Dent - Sedburgh - and back round. Nice pub and lovely Shop/coffee shop next to the cottage (OK there is a field in between)
