The location of the studio looking on the river was very peaceful and perfect for local walks both directly from the studio and around Hadrian's wall itself; or for just sitting on the balcony and watching the local wildlife and birds with a cup of tea or something stronger! The studio itself was just fabulous with lovely decoration and so many personal touches and additional attention to detail throughout. Mychael and Lisa were excellent hosts, and provided us with a great welcome, breakfast each day and anything else we needed. Bardon Mill village was very friendly with a well stocked shop/cafe and pub; and we enjoyed exploring the pottery.
