Set in 18 acres of landscaped gardens, Woodlands Bed & Breakfast is located 1 mile from from Barnt Green and 10 miles from Birmingham. It offers an outdoor pool, a spacious garden and free WiFi. I felt as though I was staying in the home of a friend! The house is beautiful, built in 1891 by an ancestor of the current owner (ask to see his photograph in the dining room - the most impressive moustache you’ll ever see😀). It’s full of family photographs, paintings and ornaments and lovely old furniture. Amanda and John are friendly, helpful and sociable and provide a great breakfast - including bowls of freshly prepared summer fruits. Good sized bedroom and bathroom with basic toiletries provided. Would certainly stay again.
Old Rose and Crown Hotel is within 400 acres of the beautiful Lickey Hills, 5 minutes' drive from the M5 and M42 motorways, 15 minutes from central Birmingham. Absolutely fantastic place. Can't fault anything or suggest improvements! Room spotless, shower powerful, bed comfy, location excellent and scenic, staff SO helpful and friendly and a breakfast of such high quality it nearly beat my late dad's cooking.... high praise indeed.
With free WiFi, free parking and a fine restaurant, this hotel used to be a country club. It is in quiet, rural Hopwood, 1.6 mi from the M42 and well placed for central Birmingham. very friendly staff..very clean . good beer good food .excellent wedding facilities..
Located 5.6 mi from University of Birmingham, Comfortable rooms provides accommodations with a fitness center, a garden and a shared kitchen for your convenience. Delia is extremely welcoming and will do whatever she can to make you feel comfortable: she went out of her way to provide the breakfast we wanted and even looked after my bike!
Featuring a garden, A private studio apartment in Birmingham provides accommodations in Birmingham with free WiFi and garden views. Our stay was wonderful couldn’t have asked for better facilities cleanliness and all round accommodation, if they weren’t fully booked we would have definitely extended our stay! Will surely be booking again in future , thank you :)
Oak tree stables cottage, a property with a garden, barbecue facilities and a terrace, is located in Birmingham, 5.6 mi from University of Birmingham, 5.6 mi from Winterbourne House and Garden, as... We had an amazing stay during christmas week! Thoroughly enjoyed it and a beautifully converted barn! Hot tub and sauna also was an added bonus. Would definitely recommend! Beautifull place!
Overall excellent value for money . Perfect for short stay . Warm , clean , comfy rooms . Friendly staff , good breakfast . Did not like a/c unit noise throughout night . We were in room 41 .
The area is beautiful and nicely green, with a picturesque landscape. It is an excellent area for Walks. It is tranquil and peaceful and clean. I didn’t really have time to explore the area but you can see from driving how lovely it would be to do so.
Beautiful hotel in a stunning location, staff very helpful and polite, we stayed in the 2 bedroomed cottage within the grounds which is very private and comfortable, breakfast was very good with plenty of choice
Good value clean comfortable rooms. Secure monitored car park. Good breakfast selection, but some items cold and dried out. Friendly helpful staff. Dining room rather canteen-like. No separate lounge bar for non-function attending residents. Had dinner in bistro, food good, but had to sit in on a teacher’s quiz night on first night, and a (lively and noisy) funeral wake 2 nights later. Hotel is a training centre for NASUWT, so money goes to a good cause. Would stay again for a good value stopover.
The building and reception was great the corridors were a little tired, but the room was excellent. Bar area surprisingly nice and the bar meals nice and affordable. Breakfast was buffet style but was fresh and tasty with a good selection. Great location.
Wonderful nature and surrounding area. Great walk from the station, through the woods and nature park. Some lovely rural sights to behold. It's fairly easy to get around. I walked from the station to the venue and it was a great walk (although fairly hilly).
